So i find my self wondering who plans on getting or has gotten Battle Ops Bee. I personally am not i took a look at him at the store and i found his robot mode to be no more impressive than either the HA or Battle Blades. To me this figure just seemed like a bumblebee whit a bunch of light and sounds gimmicks shoved in nothing more and not worth getting.
Waiting for the right sale and discount. There are stacks of these guys and I can wait. If I miss him, I will shed no tears. My interest level only increased when Japan said they were considering him as a Masterpiece toy.
No. I already have enough versions of Movie Bumblebee and don't have enough money/space for another large figure, even if I actually wanted yet another version of the character.
I like the look/design it's just the size and price that put me off. I'm trying to limit my purchases money is tight so is space to display. To be honest I have the concept from movie 1 and HA from movie 2 thats good enough.
Well since the people that have him seem to think he is pretty good if he is on a good clearance than maybe. I still cant help but think a figure so full of gimmicks wont suffer from said gimmicks.
It is leaps and bounds better than "Ultimate Bumblebee", but he's very top heavy and the level of articulation for his right arm suffers from the cannon gimmick. I bought him, transformed him back and forth 2 - 3 times, posed him a few different ways and concluded it's for people who want an oversized Bee with lights and sounds. He's not very pose-able (awkward and limited) and I found that the deluxe Battle Blade Bumblebee was more satisfying to transform, pose, and has a greater playability factor. The TWO things I liked most of Battle Ops BB: 1. The head sculpt and battle mask. 2. The car mode is really sweet and solid. Not enough to convince me it was worth the $60 - $70, so I returned Battle Ops BB and got a refund.
No, Battle Blade Bumblebee is all I need, (unless a more actuate Bumblebee is release in the third movie).
He looks pretty slick to me so I'm going after him. I've abandoned buying from a line/scale-type approach to a character/mold-based approach, and I like what I've seen so far.
I totally agree here. There are certain types of TFs that just don't have any kind of place in my collection.
I would if his shoulder cannons where accurate like on the Deluxe version and if his right arm was capable of posing.
