Sounds fine to me. If they are going the wunderkind entrepreneur route, then it makes sense to give him mannerisms and a look that fit with that. Will he be my favorite version of Lex ever? Probably not. But businessman Lex wasn't really my favorite take anyway. And as for the hair, it's worth mentioning that Lex was only first drawn bald by mistake by an artist who confused the Lex character with his assistant (who was the one who was supposed to be bald). And who knows... like the article points out, it's still possible to make him bald over the course of the movie. Or have this hair be a "wig", ala Gene Hackman's Luthor.
