I like the concept. It's something that comics have pretty much stayed away from unfortunately. I just hope we get the Frank "Dark Knight Returns/Daredevil/Sin City" Miller instead of the Frank "DKR2, AllStar Batman" Miller.

I think Frank is stuck in Sin City unfortunatly. DK2 was awful.

I'm interested. I love controversy books and this is definately one.

Although I have been a Punisher fan for years and have no idea when he went ot Iraq. I know he went to Russia but not Iraq.

I think he should wear Lex Luthor's old green power armor.

I'm willing to give Miller a break... even though DK2 was totally awful, a lot of his previous one shot graphic novel stuff is fantastic, the 500, Elektra lives to name a couple.

I'll pick it up, peek inside and if DK2 greets me I'll pop it back on the shelf. Mildly inerested in this one...

On the supervillain note, when compared Bin Laden reminds me a lot of Ras Al Ghul, especially in the 'Legacy' storyline, when he was holed up in a desert, and his terrorist goons wanted to infect the world with an ebola strain virus...

I don't understand why they mix the real world with a fake one. Gotham is filled with sci-fi fantasy stuff, yet they're throwing in real world issues as well ? I wish they'd just stick to being in a single world, not mixing up this world with that one.

Since this isn't really connected to the mainline DCU (and sounds like it's only connected to the stuff Frank Miller writes, such as YEAR ONE, DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, SPAWN/BATMAN, DK2, ALL-STAR BATS), there's not too much to worry about since Miller's Gotham doesn't always have as much sci-fi fantasy stuff. OTOH they have Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, etc so that could raise questions.

Gotta second that one. I'd think Cap would be a bit more appropriate.
