Time to be an actual detective, son!

 

Yeah, that one took me by surprise. It was one of those "Hmm.. who could it be.. wait.. waaaaiiiiitttt!!!!!" things.

 

I finally 100% completed the game. I am a little disappointed that you don't unlock anything extra like another costume or something, but it really is not that big of a deal. I have all of the achievements except for the biggest bang one which I will start working on now that I have done everything else.

How difficult is the game on hard anyway? Has anyone finished it yet?

It's not to hard, you just have to be on your toes to counter. There is no mark showing when a guy is going to attack, I prioritized guys with knifes but the others are pretty easy.

Fighting the titans isn't that bad. It takes maybe 3 hits before you're dead though. Once you get the triple bat grapple the fights become easy. I just spammed it during Titan fights that had henchmen (the Titans would usually take out the henchmen for me) and the final fight. Just let them all stumble over and start doing ground take downs. Also avoid fighting the Party near the end. There were to many for me to be able to see who was doing what and I got destroyed.

I also found a cool little thing. Right after you talk to Ivy theres the goons waiting for you on across the gap. The first time I came to this point I used the grapple to pull a guy over the edge, the rest would just dodge. When I went back in Hard I pulled the first guy and then tossed batarangs to make the others dodge. As they dodge the batarangs you can quick grapple them over the edge. My friend says I wasn't being Batman. At the gap you hear them splash but I was doing it in the catacombs as well.

 

about the history of arkham

when i first scan like 4 or 5 of them i though it really was Amadeus writing and was making them and was incredible old. but when i saw the graveyard and saw that his grave was recently dugged up and the coffin was the standard cheap box, it took that idea away.

as i starting scanning more slabs it came clear to me that its someone who is working at arkham using the alias of amadeus possibly before batman was born because of a patient he had that killed his wife. but more scanning debunked the 'before batman' when he started mentioning poison ivy, joker and harley quinn. that meant to me that the person was someone important and high level clearance in order to do the things he did.

that left one person. i realized it after the battle with killer croc.

that guy was freaking nuts.

Yes, but I was speaking once you also collect all the riddles and beat all of the challenges as well. There is not much incentive to 3 Batarang all the challenges because in the end it gets you nothing but some Xbox Achievements and bragging rights.

 

I just zip lined into them. I shot it across, started goin to em and they were literally saying "what the hell is that!" and just stood there as I bowled em over. It was awesome.  

 

For some people, that's more than enough

At first, after I realized it was him I thought it was lame, but then it got me thinking about him in a totally different light. He's not the boring pointless man I thought he was when the game started, thats for sure. They managed to give him some character without even involving him.

I wanna know more about the one armed man though.

And these combat challenges... hnnnng, tough. I can 2 batarang most of them, but I just can't see myself getting up to 3.

 

Finished 80% got the croc ending. GREAT game 5/5

 

Sitting at 97% completion. I still need to 3 batarang, Shock & Awe, and all four extremes (which I have at least one batarang on each one). I about died when I finally finished Shock & Awe Extreme. Jesus that's difficult. Getting closer to the 40 combo, had 32 last night on Sewer Rat extreme and then I got hit by a box, grr...

I will say all this fighting has made me button mash less and focus on building variations and keeping my combo going. I'm getting better, I can see the improvements. I know I'll 3 batarang the rest, it just might take a lot more practice and a little luck.

in the prison cells, harley quinn and clayface are there, the one arm man. who is this guy and why does he sound like a psychopathic sex pervert?

 

He's not one-armed, he's wearing a straight-jacket and one arm in still strapped in.

His face looks too... intentional to be just a random dude. He's based off someone. Maybe a developer?

Grrr. Now I'm at 98%. Just need 4 more batarangs, all on extreme challenges: 1 on Sewer Bat, 1 on Shock and Awe, and 2 on Rumble in the Jungle. How in the blue hell am I suppose to get 50000 points on SW and RitJ?!

I had to quit before my controller became a batarang...

 

Who else lolld at calender man? And when I was in that Scarecrow trap (With batman as the joker and stuff) I thought I was going to get the red ring because my screen was going all weird and their voices were going crazy.
