Could the Oreo Bot in Transformers 4 be Barricade?

I'd rather Barricade be that guy who always disappears every other movie only to suddenly be back the next movie.

but it´s impossible they are the same robot ... the less far fetched option would be that barricade´s new design in inspired by the oreo bot

 

No not even close. The Oreo bot is just a recycled Decepticon Proto trooper we seen in ROTF and DOTM with some reused long haul parts on the head

There is no need for this. I just found it shocking that the two had a similar appearance so I thought I'd share my thoughts. No need to be rude.

 

You have to admit that the head, the legs, and the chest look very similar apart from the minor differences and color scheme.

Edit: But I guess it's just another coincidence. Like Barricade and Sideways.

But I mean.. use logic man lol how could they be one and the same? Like really? Oreo bot = Barricade...? With that logic, Optimus and Sentinel must be the same since they have similar facial features and are Primes!

 

I agree they do share a first glance similarity but once you look closer out start seeing they aren't that close, however I have no doubt that the Oreo bot was a starting point for the new barricade.....wouldn't it be funny if he somehow evolved out of the Oreo bot as it contained lots of transformium from barricades body or something good spot though as the mouth is incredibly close

 

They do look similar, but I'm not sure why that has to mean they're the same, or that that's barricade. Not sure why you want them to be the same either. Onslaught could look similar to Longhaul but they aren't the same character..

 

I am using logic.  

KSI made it possible for any Decepticon to return. And I thought since A LOT of their features match, they must be the same character. But I guess not now.  

And if you're gonna bring the primes into this, include all of them. Optimus and Sentinel Prime look WAY different from the other movie verse primes. What you're saying is they have to look like the two in order to be primes?

 

I never said I WANTED them to be the same. And we haven't even seen Onslaught's full robot mode.

 

Is it just me or does his centre chest piece look beast like emblem or something?

 

One is a vending machine. One is a car. That's a big difference.

 

They look a bit similar physically, but I highly doubt they're the same bot.

Given that apparently Hooligan and Onslaught will share character models with Long Haul and Crowbar, I wouldn't be surprised if maybe they used the bot as a basis for Barricade's new design.
