Sounds interesting, but a fully sports-based RPG would be boring as hell to me. Is it just normal RPG goodness, or is full of a bunch of crap and facts that only a basketball fan would like?
Barkley should join the XMen. Hoops rpg does seem pretty cool. Instead of spamming the same damn spell over & over, you can take shots. I still think we should make a downloadable console game just to do the achievments. ..and make them really really easy & dumb.
Ah, so it finally got done. I'll have to check it out, it sounded pretty promising back when. I'm working on that for my game, it's just taking a while to get the setup done. It'll probably be a finishing touch or something once the game is all done. Same goes for that TF one I was doing.
EDIT: What the hell? I went to make a new thread and it wound up posting in this old one. That's weird. Q: What? No, seriously. A: It's a send-up of JRPGs and licensed games. It's what Kingdom Hearts would have been if it was made in the 90s. And about basketball. Q: So it's just a one-note joke that went too far? A: Actually, it's a pretty solid game. The graphics are kind of shit, but the story is there and it's got a surprisingly good battle engine they're calling B.A.B.B.Y. It's sort of a cross between 'Earthbound' and 'Mario & Luigi' Q: Is this RPG Maker? A: No.
