Lets see Toy Fair this year Hasbro only shows off Movie related products. Q&A they only talk about Movie related products. Toy leaks have only been of Movie related toys.

No I'd say that's a pretty good indication that if you are fan of Animated or Universe then you are just out of luck until the Movie line has been milked for it's last dollar.

I think you missed my point.

I was commenting on the "do a better job pleasing fans" bit. In the end, the fandom may be highly pleased by the ROTF line rather than divided like it is right now. It's just too preemptive to think that the general fandom's not going to like it more (remember that there was a lot of anti-Animated sentiment before the show and the line debuted?)

I'd say the economy being in the toilet messed them up more than the movie. And Universe was only planned to run until the movie line started. End of.

I don't think the fandom is ever totally united on anything. I mean there are people that don't like the Universe line so there is just no way for Hasbro to make all the fans happy all the time.

Guess we will have to wait until the film has been out awhile to really know for sure how fans and kids will be about the line.

I blame TF2 theater date and the economy for killing any chance of a 25th aniversery product line

I don't know if Hasbro has ever used the words cancelled or hiatus in relation to Animated or Universe. But if they did, I missed it.

As far as I can make out they just won't tell us one way or another. It's really annoying.

Well for months they were telling us that Universe would go on hiatus for the movie line. Animated was supposed to run along side the movie line. But plans change.

I feel like it's after christmas around me. Nothing new in weeks. Goodness is on the horizon though. And it is giving me a chance to enjoy all my toys instead of just new ones.

They told us hiatus a few times for Universe but gave us no clues at all about how long the hiatus would last.

Not as much official news on Animated so that's why we've had speculation all over the place about what will or will not happen with the Animated line or the fate of the cartoon after the current season is over.

So I did miss it. Thanks, I thought that might have been just a popular assumption. I don't suppose they mentioned whether it'd be a continuation of new molds in the Classics-verse series or just a repaint line like it's been in the past.
