Who else thinks that they should expand on that tease they gave us and actually feature Bantor on Transformers Prime?

Either have it be a flashback episode featuring Ratchet and some story-specific reason he had to tamper with the future Fuzor's beast mode, or, perhaps have him stop by on his way through the solar system to visit his old friend Ratchet ala Wheeljack in Con Job.

Admittedly, the biggest reason I want this is because Bantor, with Terrorgator, was the first Transformer I ever bought myself. To say I'm biased is a gross understatement.

 

No, he was just a mention in one of Ratchet's OH SO WACKY comic relief moments.

 

But whats to stop them to explore ratchet's career as a medic. There a lot of fun and interesting things that could be explored like beast-formers or shockwave's experiments. Bantor could even be referenced again or even appear should they decide to explore and expound on rachet's history.

I've always found BW Bantor to be pretty cool, but I think the Prime version should just stay fake - to me, it was just Ratchet rambling on and making stuff up due to not being fully off of his anesthetic at the time.

 

I'd be cool with using Bantor as a gatway to explore what happened on Earth after the Beast Wars, even if they kept things hella vague while doing so.

 

not saying it wouldnt be cool, but other than some sort of flashback wouldnt it be a really weird awkward continuity loop to have BW show up in Jasper Nevada?

 

I approve of this, Bantor has the potential to be the "Derpy Hooves" of Transformers Prime.

 

Wasn´t "Derpy" removed from the show to avoid possible complains or even legal demands?

 

Would be cool to see, but I just don't see it happening sadly.

 

I think it'd be cool to see him as a background character or something, but nothing to substantial. Too many other characters I'd like to see first.

 

This was more or less how I saw it. Think of Animated, where they took Beast Wars characters like Waspinator and Rattrap and made them fit into a continuity where there are still Autobots and Decepticons.

And yeah, the joke was kind of lame, but it was also a fantastically obscure reference, and I think that should give it points.

 

Nah, Derpy Hooves voice and name was removed because Moms and Butthurt fans couldn't take a joke.

Rescue bots is going to have an upcoming episode where there is an outbreak of animals from a zoo. Maybe if you want Beast war references that can be your dream come true or what ever.
