Yes, but also just compare the Dynames situation.
    EE had it for 259.99
Hobby Genki had it for 28,490 yen...

28490 yen to usd is 257 right now... even when it came out it couldn't have been that much more or less with the exchange rate.

Point is, US MSRP is about equal to JPY MSRP, even without shipping and tax.

Clearly, that's not happening with Justice, something changed.
also 28,600 yen to usd is 258! So just compare that vs the Dynames situation, too.
    in USD
    ........ Dynames | Justice
    USA...259.99 | 299.99
    JPN....257 | 258

The Dynames' intial MSRP was 25,300 JPY after taxes, so it costing 259.00 USD is bordering along the 1:1 conversion but not as egregious. Something did change with the Justice or maybe we just don't want to accept the fact that new molds of retail releases will slowly start touching the 300.00 USD pricepoint

That's the thing. If it's because of the new mold, that higher price should also reflect with Japan but it isn't.

genuine question: if bluefin had come out and stated the msrp and it was 299, would we still be here complaining while speculating as to why the price hike or ultimately just accept it while proceeding to complain about it?

Now it basically is the same as buying from Japanese online shop plus shipping. But Japanese release is one month earlier. It makes waking up at 3am worth it…

No, I'd still be complaining/speculating with the break in pattern.

Has anyone had problems connecting their lightning striker to their red astray? I’ve been using the force of Zeus and I can’t seem to get it in securely.

P.S: Long time lurker, happy to finally join up

It took me over an hour to do so for my Blue Frame 2nd, if it makes you feel any better. Just constantly trying, adjusting, trying again, etc and mostly for the same reasons. It WILL go in, but I sure as hell have no idea how to explain how it finally did other than that I finally just pushed hard enough.

Thanks! I tried twice and had no luck. Wish it was a metal connector similar to the one on the Tactical Arms II

You're paying tax on Toydojo? Are you in Texas as well?

I'm in CA, don't get taxed by TD and TCP, the other sites I do.
I know it changed but I think there might be some fine print or something. The big corporations collect tax everywhere ever since 2017 I think, but the smaller mom and pop shops have not been collecting tax, hence why I shop at TCP and TD vs. local CA stores. Would rather wait a few days after release of items vs. going to a local store and having to pay $10-30 in tax for an item. $10 tax for just 1 3rd party TF can be better used for movie ticket or a combo meal on the go lol.
That is a great price for non CA buyers, I don't think Eknight collects tax outside of CA.
@Onslaught Phase 2, you should consider making eKnight your go to, to avoid tax.
