You would think so huh? I'm still waiting for that GooJitZu line to make a stretchy Mr. Fantastic or Plastic Man. But yeah, it make a lot more sense to have stretchy Hulk and Flash.
Oh god his face looks like crap in that lightning. Please stop sharing images unless they’re promotional until it’s release so I can at least be disappointed once I have mine in hand.

Oh my gosh I’m loving this Luffy design. The colors, faces, poses, and accessories just all look SO GOOD. But I’m gonna be cautiously optimistic. IW Goku is still fresh in my mind and I don’t wanna get excited for a line of figures that has, what, a 50/50 track record so far? I would’ve preferred a Figuarts since that’d probably be cheaper and more sturdy. But I’ll keep an eye out for this guy and if they figure out the durability issues I might just get this guy.
Yeah but since it’s MegaHouse it’s not as if their line is gonna go that far. What was the final verdict on the Vegeta? It seriously got loud fan fair when it was announced and when it released absolutely no one cared.
Lol. I think Goku really did kill the hype for that line. From what I gather the consensus was that IW Vegeta is decent. Much better than Goku, but overpriced as you’re paying about $100 for a figure that can’t even do an ab crunch or include any notable effect pieces.
when i meant by line i meant roster. We're getting the Luffy[taro] and a Zoro[juro] but are we getting the rest of the Straw Hats in their Wano 'disguises' or are we done because I honestly wouldn't put it past them since we haven't seen much from this line as of late and the last thing I remember getting solicited was a Zou Law and that was released 2 years ago I believe. I haven't heard anything about that toy period much less hearing remarks regarding any breakages/tears.
Ultimately it really was Goku that killed any sort of hype the line may have had. From the general appearance comparable to the over-detailed models of Jump Force to the shoddy QC (Degrading rubber, shitty joint engineering) and having LESS available articulation than his Figuarts counterpart, it's a wonder they even put Vegeta out at all when they tried to put Goku out on clearance. Even if you fixed the QC on the materials and engineering you're still paying for something that can't articulate very well and can't be displayed with anything else lest you risk having a Goku who WILL eventually break and degrade no matter how careful you are with him.
Oooooh, I'm really glad they went with the Wano design for this one. Jacket Luffy is my favorite design for the character. This looks like the best release for this line so far and I'm definitely inclined to pick this guy up. The QC issues on Goku and the awkward gaps that show when posing Vegeta were turn offs for me but Luffy looks like he won't fall victim to either of those issues. Hoping they'll eventually do a Zoro or (wishful thinking) a Traffy later down the line.
The QC and playability factor of this line is really what’s putting me on the fence. I’m still kinda confused at what IW toys are supposed to be. Looking at how they’re trying to utilize cloth and integrate seamless joints, my first thought was “So is this…anime Hot Toys?” So either they’re poorly built like Goku or even at their best they just aren’t meant to be handled. With that comparison in mind, even if they’re not as expensive as a Hot Toy they lack a lot of articulation and features to make it an effective display piece.
A better comparison would maybe be something like an Anime Mezco figure but too large for 1:12 which is another score against the line as it doesn't really scale with anything else. Anime Hot Toys would be better directed at the Real Action Heroes line which does have 1:6 Anime characters with soft goods.
