Well they haven’t announced a Gigatron, yet
Banana Force LTD
Price drop to $115 USD
Damn, I just bought my Red Sharpshooter, I don't need this pressure right now
Hot damn, that price is very affordable and a great price for a quality figure. If the original color could go down to that I'm buying one!
Having him in hand now...boy I hope someone makes him a good firefighter ax! The sword is okay but the theme is right there, let's roll with that. A big ax or two smaller ones would have been so good on this!
The problem is I don't see any store has the price lowered to 115. The cheapest I can find is showz, still $135, while Baba has $169.
Same here. I'm waiting to see it lowered before I order...
Banana Force LTD
top notch. I'm in.
Me too! But it looks like they dropped the articulated hands from the upgrade kit ☹️
First they lowered the price multiple times due to lack of interest, then they pushed back Ultra Magnus, Omega Prime and this kit to unknown dates, then they announced a Nemesis repaint and two G1 figures - Dai Atlas and G1 Prime - and now this is downgraded from a retail release to a small-run crowdfund. Those aren't the actions of a company that's doing well.
I really want to be wrong.
It sucks because this guy is really great but doesn’t seem to be too popular with the masses.
I just want us all to pause for a moment to reflect on the awesome jumble of words that is the title of this front-paged news story.
In regard to the lack of interest, I could say I'm one of them originally. My beef was their marketing, they chose to give us an incomplete figure i.e part smaller robot and part of the trailer combine mode first. What they should've done, abandoned those useless accessories and substitute with the Super Part crowdfund accessories from the start. For starter, he'll be toon accurate in both robot mode with just 1 purchase. Second, it will save fans the money to purchase their UM/Omega Prime set. Judging from the look on the UMagnus set, they'll piss the fans again, at least to me if they have their way. That is, they'll release the basic UM, then the Omega Part, and another Super Part accessories to make the basic UM more toon accurate by giving him another smaller wing, accurate blue bolt weapon, etc.
Some of Prime useless accessories are e.g. the 2 big guns, the sword, the rectangle block w/ circles:
I agree. I would think they would finish up Ultra Magnus to combine to a giant piece would really see the remaining MPL-01s. My guess is they haven't got the revenue to go to factory. t
Perhaps the lack of many new releases otherwaise and countries recovering slightly from the initial shock of the virus will help push the remaining backlog.
Yeah It's a bit worrisome. It's reminding me of what happened with MakeToys and Galaxy Meteor and how they decided to just stick with geewun because it sells better. Like I remember that company had plans to make a Cybertron Optimus and Cybertron Megatron figure but they never got made I guess because of how poorly Galaxy Meteor sold. It would really suck if Banana Force goes down that same path because I really want to at least see a Gigatron and Devil Gigatron repaint from them to go with RID Optimus and Ultra Magnus.
That thing cost as much as Perfect Effect's current offerings that do transform and now they want to charge for things that should have been in the original release?
That should have been included in the original figure.
Glad I never bothered with it.
So, like...the last time I tried to crowdfund a 3P Fire Convoy it blew up in my face. But I also love Car Robots too much to learn my lesson, so
Separate names with a comma.
