Hi anyone here going this year? i didnt see a thread for this yet. so im posting here. we can also have a meet there if anyone is interested. i never been to a comic con before in baltimore. anyone knows about parking costs? and any helpful hints/ ideas about getting around? i believe tickets are 18.00? if theres no other hidden fees.
I'm not going, but last time I went I parked about a half mile west of the convention center on Pratt St by Martin Luther King Blvd. The neighborhood is a little questionable as with almost any urban area, but by daytime it's not bad. Another option is driving to a place that has light rail access, then taking the light rail to Pratt St which will drop you off across the street from the convention center. A round trip will be around $3.50 or so. A quarter mile or so to the east is the Inner Harbor...not sure what's there any more, but if nothing else you'll find food. Camden Yards is right next to the convention center. There are usually a few stand that offer Transformers and other action figures in addition to comics and related merchandise. I'm sorry to be missing Jim Starlin...unavoidable family commitment this year, though.
thanks for the info, i think i will might pass for now, it might not be worth all the troubles, unless i see jim lee, rob liefeld, marc silvestri. mc farlane himself is not enough for me to go. but i do like his work alot too.
I'll be going to BCC, the last time I went was in '08. I found the show to be much more laid back and friendly compared to other East Coast shows.
