My local shop has BCW bags and boards. BCW Supplies | Protect.Store.Display

I have been using current sized bags and boards

I used to think it was me, but they were always a PIA to bag and board anything. Bags tight with just comics in them so u can imagine when u tried sliding in the boards. Doesn't matter if u do board first or comic first they are pretty much crap.

Been on a binge lately to get everything bagged, boarded and sorted for sale and storage reasons with the new stackable boxes. Each bag and board set have just pissed me off to no end. Bags tearing sliding boards in, not enough room to get a comic or a board in, etc and so forth.

I am curious to hear everyone else's complaints and opinions on the matter. I am going to be emailing them and looking for another supplier.

I think it is a piss poor product and I am going to let them know. I will forward your issues in my email as well of u include them.

    Thanks

I recently threw away all my mismatched bags and backer boards that I inherited from comic stores over the years, and upgraded. I am using these now for my entire collection, and am very happy them.

ComicCare - Current Size backer boards
    UltraPro - Reasealable Bags

The resealable bags are amazing. I will never go back to using tape on bags, and having it get stuck to the cover each time I pull the comic out.

Oh fuck that brought back memories hah (tape getting stuck), and its just another reason why UltraPro's the king of what they do.

    Ebay:
UltraPro resealable bags and boards. All silver age sized for everything.

I just got sick and tired of bags being too tight, like the OP said. Sure, standard sized books swim a bit in the silver sized bags, but annuals and double sized or quarterlies (Justice League Quarterly, Green Lantern Quarterly from the 90s) fit perfectly... besides, they all just go into my drawer boxes, so who cares if they swim a bit?

I tighten my bags by taping down the edges
