i took "exclusive" to mean "i buy only this and no other brands", like all my 3P figures are Fanstoys

yay and with that, Badcube are officially not dead   i hope they manage to get back to putting new figures soon.

Nothing at first glance, everything moves as it should. not transformed them yet but everything looks good, didn't think I'd get the little energon cubes it's a nice touch.

 

*quietly and nervously puts the Collectors' edition bugs back in their boxes and hides them away* uh... Yeah. Totally. Me too.

And here they are with smirk faces and transformed , only issue is getting kickback to stand in bug mode apart from that all good, still might get the MMC versions if I find them cheap enough but these guys are great.

Is it just the toy aesthetic that makes them more appealing? I bought mine off Taobao a couple of years ago and they were cheaper than the solid yellow all in one box option. The cheaper cost is what made me go with these

 

For me, yes, that's exactly it. I like that they look more like the toys.

 

same for me, its that they look very much like the G1 toys, but with proper articulation.
man hearing that they were not just available somewhere, but "cheap" is hard, the only set ive seen on ebay for a long time is 400 US at the moment

 

If it helps, I think I bought these over 1.5 years ago so it was probably market pricing then.

 

is the reissue released yet?i remembered someone saying early November.

 

I like the chrome parts. For me, chrome, when done well, just gives transformers more punch. Makes them look more exciting. Same with clear plastics which also add more depth. For example, I'm a big fan of the clear bits on FT Koot and Roadking. Just gives them more pop.

I wish Badcube or MMC would release their Insecticons in the Diaclone colors (aka the E-Hobby clone set)

 

I liked the chrome too and have the Chrome gigapower dinos. Through current releases though I've seen my figures go more toon and now 1/2 wished I'd gone with Metallic Gigaoowers. That being said I do still love the clear yellow Insections from Bad Cube. It's semi annoying that part of my collection is toy inspired and another is toon. But admiring from a far, it's not too noticeable to me

 

Finally finished my G1S1 Decepticons collection.
Thank you @ShowZStore for the Evil Bug Corps reissue. I've been eyeing those 3 for such a long time.



Only 13 Autobots left to finish my collection.
