They said they are doing Huff/Pipes. I could definitely see them doing Trailbreaker because Hoist is a repaint/mold mod. That would make the most sense because that character is obscure enough that TT would not want to target it. Also they could work around to Seaspray and Gears/Swerve since they confirmed they are not doing Cliffjumper/Hubcap. I think X-Transbots will do Cosmos and I think they will have to do Cliffjumper if we are ever going to see an accurate version since BC has passed.

 

So far I've ended up with every Badcube figure released, but I guess the streak (ha!) ends here! Only collecting toon characters so easy pass. Cool for the diaclone collectors though!

If I had endless money I would buy every Masterpiece vehicle including repaints and remolds. But realistically I can't. So I have to follow a rule. Masterpiece only, no CHUG, no repaints or remolds, and until recently no third party. But I caved on third party. But the prior rules apply to third party. This keeps me within sane boundaries of money and collecting. I think it's cool that some of us collect only Diaclone, and some collect only Toon. Those are rules. I read in one post on another thread that someone in his biggest year spent 12 grand on figures. I can't do that. I want to, but can't. And don't get me wrong, I love chug, but there are so many great ones, I can't afford to get them all. So I don't get any. Wreck-gar is my favorite at this point. Kuddos to BC.

 

I'm down for Blaze, like some have said, he'll look nice and pretty next to MP Tiger Tracks

Just pre-ordered from TCP. Not usually a fan of the non G1 toon re-colors, but the figure is really good enough to justify this one time...

The discounted pre-order price also helped a lot. Wish all 3p's would do that going forward.

If they read our posts, I want to let them know that I am passing on the blaze and strongly considering Sunsurge. Its a shame because they did so many shots of Sunsurge with MP Sideswipe and they paired incredibly well. MP Sideswipe is a beautiful figure and can be had with some sales and discounts at 50-60 bucks

So for them to pull this Blaze thing? Makes zero sense to me

 

What discounted price? It's $83.99 everywhere I've seen, which is cheaper than Sunsurge because of two fewer accessories. I have no idea why TCP shows $104.99 with a 20% discount if you preorder.

 

I don't think it's any different than what TT does. Some people will like it. Especially if they do the police version. But it will need to have a detachable light section for the false canopy.

 

I think that's the price after release, maybe?
