Mine from Terry's just arrived in Chicago.

More concerned my other order from there of GT Groove and Red Bull hasn't shipped yet, and now both are sold out.

And Groove's prices are creeping up elsewhere.

 

Alright, got my Grump today and i'm happy to say that this little fella is great. I'm sure some other company will eventually attempt to make him but for now this guy is near-perfect Gears IMO. Great job, Badcube!

 

damn. Still waiting on my unhappy-bot to be handed off to USPS, dunno how you guys are getting him in-hand so quick.

 

He's so stumpy, in a good way.

Gears should be stumpy, just a stumpy, frumpy, grumpy little guy.

 

I ordered Swerve at the same time as Grump, they even were shipped the same day but Swerve was delayed leaving China by about 4 days and won't make it here until later this week at the earliest. Just one of the joys of international shipping, some things get held up for no apparent reason.

 

The upper half is pretty sweet, but someday another company will clean up the legs and maybe articulate the hands a bit.
But that could be another 4 or 5 years and in the meantime I do like Grump more than I expected.

 

Yeah I was expecting it to feel a bit cheap and flimsy but it's solid as a rock to me. He's a nice little chunk of a bot. I agree though, the hands could at least open, especially since my gun fits very tightly. Legs definitely need some cleanup too but until someone else steps up Grump will do very nicely.

 

Just received my Grump.

He's awesome, but mine didn't come with the smiling face. Does this new release not include it?

 

It has the smiling face built in. Lift his face up from the chin and spin it around. The smiling face is on the other side of the grumpy face.

 

Will wonders never cease! Guess I should try looking at the usually-useless instructions from time to time.

Received my Grump yesterday from @ShowZStore . Arrived in just under 2 weeks. I think that's a new record!

I didn't realize this guy came packaged in bot mode. Also, not a fan of Badcube just sort of tossing the tiny accessories inside the clam shell. Would have liked a tiny screw baggy or something for the small accessories, or at least tape them in place so as not to lose them. Nearly lost his tiny cassette tape when I first pulled him out of the packaging. I immediately opened up his chest and put it in the chest slot for safe keeping. lol.

All-in-all, he's a great little figure. With him I now have a complete G1 ark crew, and am only missing Jetfire in order to have a complete season 1 Autobot lineup.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if FT gears next.

At long last, the grumpy one has arrived. One step closer toward having a complete set of minibots.



I really hope either Takara or Fanstoys releases their Cliffjumper soon. At least let me finish the first two seasons, please...


(You know, it's funny, awhile back, before the reissue was announced, I was offering someone on here $190 dollars for their Badcube Grump, but fortunately they wanted more cash so they turned me down. I guess I should be thankful for that because I would've been out $130 extra bucks. Thanks dude!)

That's ACE Tumbler. I don't know what's worse- Tumbler's massive Bugs Bunny feet or Toro's mountaineer backpack... and I have both!

 

Mine's still hanging out in Illinois with my MS Stunticons.

They're arguing over who pays the bill for the deep dish pizza place.

Wow, never realized XTB Windcharger is so, um, broad.

 

I think my camera has a tendency to stretch things out a bit at the sides of the image.

 

The backpack/car frame makes him look blockier too.

Grump looks he holds up pretty next to FT Brawn and MP BB.
