He's not perfect, but he's a good effort. Windows and legs need work. Depending on price I might be in, I don't think TakaraTomy is likely to do him anytime soon.

Seems to be the same company, but they are advertising they have a new factory.

Never cared much for Brawn but this looks good, I am loving the Land Rover alt mode.

Looks like Cubex renamed to bring us some more awesome minibots! Huff was brilliant despite the widespread QC. Looks like perhaps they're rebranding to get away from that kerfuffle and may be using a new factory too.

    Just speculation on my part.

I want this but wanna wait to see more. And just in case another 3P are tackling Brawn too.

MP Brawn? Definitely interested! He's perhaps a little on the chunky side but that works for the character, and you could say the same about the official Ultra Magnus so it's not an issue.
Yeah that's an odd one. He was a sort of generic amalgamation of vehicles, a bit like Huffer. I'd probably have preferred a Huff-like approach but gotta admit he looks good as a Landy and scales well with the cars.
Interesting if it is Cubex. They had a great design for Huff, marred by QC. Surprised they went the X-Transbots route with the alt mode (pick a real vehicle from the era) this time though.

    Also,

BadCube 2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about Huff.

Yeah. That looks full of win. Huff is a brilliant figure (well mine is, still has flawless paint job) so I'm in on this. Please do Windcharger next :D

Really like the stocky appearance, really suits the character. Diecast in the feet do we think?

EDIT - by the looks of that recent pic this could potentially be close to release? That proto is in coloured plastic......not sure on the stages but just a thought.

MEH, good alt-mode, it scales nicely but look at the stubby feet on that thing and the arm connections, MEH!?

    Instant pass!

Brawn had a big part in the cartoon (considering how many characters there are). I guess Takara doesn't choose who to MP an the basis of that.

Brawny's head matches the default head of Huff. However, I use the (lipless) alt head for my Huff so I hope Brawny comes with an alt head that matches that one also.
