I'll wait to check my own stores to see if they abide to this.

Who needs previews? Go to Walmart and check out the first wave or two of figures....

Not that you can buy them, but you can look at them.....(unless you bitch and whine for an hour or two, then you might just be able to buy some)

May 15th, 30th. What does it matter? By this time next year they'll all be in people's cheap sections in the BST forum.

    :lol

Actually, this is kind of disappointing for me. I was looking forward to doing a little shopping before work tomorrow. Ah well, I'll check out my local Target anyway...

Hmm, I think I'll wait to see some Georgia sightings and purchases before I run out looking for Soundwave, then.

Yeah, I'd really like to know Hasbro's logic behind reducing the Preview-to-Main-Line gap to two weeks for RotF, compared to 1 month for TFTM07. The first batch of Preview figures shelf-warmed a little, but it wasn't like they were depriving the main line figures of shelf space when those came out.

I've checked walmart almost every day this week, and nothing has shown up so far. I'm afraid they won't have them out tomorrow, even if there is some new weird rule to hold them until the 30th. But I'll check anyway.

I am kinda ticked that Hasbro is purposely withholding the figures for this movie,do you
realize that every other country to some degree have these figures and probably
sold out,and soon getting wave 3 and 4 of them, yet here we can't even buy these till
the 30th.Way to go Hasbro, but you stick to your release date while other countries are
making boatloads of money from them. Its your loss Hasbro.

Oh and sorry for the rant but just wanted to point that out.

Ok, unfortunately this is true at my walmart. I talked to a lady unpacking toy boxes this mornign and she said nothing was supposed to go out until the 30th, and even if it does, it won't scan for sell untill the 30th.

Well, I WAS going to Walmart today to pick up Soundwave, but after reading this stuff I called several Walmarts to make sure my trip wouldn't be in vain.

None of the ones near me have even HEARD of the preview wave. Everything they've got says the 30th. :banghead:

Going to call some Target's next... (as soon as they open that is. *watches clock*)

I was looking forward to getting Soundwave today. But I checked Target using the DCPI number & they don't have any in stock.

The only deluxe cases I saw at walmart said wave 1 refresh 1 or something like that. The dates on the boxes all said 30th. I was looking for a deluxe case that said the 15th but they didn't have any.

This is why we need some kind of direct communication between Hasbro, the stores & the fans. Hasbro doesn't know what the stores are doing. The stores don't know what Hasbro is doing & the fans don't know what Hasbro or the stores are doing. Nobody knows anything about anything.

Called Target. Same story. Nothing till the 30th. *sighs*

Looks like I'll be getting Soundwave online... :banghead:
