hello tfw im a noob in toy collecting hehe

i just want to ask your opinions and observations regarding TFU toys...

i've been backtracking TFU deluxe figs like smokescreen, prowl etc

i feel really bad selling them way way back..

so i want to ask is, will hasbro reissue/release them again?

the prices of these figs in our country is really insane....

thanks hope you can enlighten me...

Do you mean those old Universe figures, or the Classics Universe 2.0 ones? Either way I doubt Hasbro is going to re-release them. Maybe Takara will?

One of the best chances is here on the buy and sell boards. Or Ebay if you don't mind paying a fortune.

    ^This.

Anyhow, Hasbro will probably re-release them eventually, but probably not anytime soon because they just got released a few years ago.

30$ aftermarket price plus shipping. that's pretty bad.

but remember alternator were the same and did go down in price after a while. you're a member of cybertron philippines from what i can recall. just remember when buying online peeps will tell you that ebay is the one to check for after market, to me that's just a line peeps will tell you to make money, especially scalpers.

there are tons of other collectors out there willing to trade of maybe help out another collector. its pretty much up to you to buy from scalpers or not. its just a matter of how badly you want them.

    Ebay:
What helped lower the price of the alternators was the fact that the line ended. We've had 4 different lines now for the classics? If theres another line in the future then the price may still rise until they are truly done with them.

Trading is awesome and very fun to do. I've made quite a few trades on here that were great. I have to disagree with you on the ebay reference. Completed *sold* auctions indicate what the market price is and what people are willing to pay. Scalpers try to sell but if there are a fair amount of people paying the prices then thats what the market is calling for.

    This 1000X This.

For every item that sells at a reasonable price there are usually 2 dozen over-priced auctions that ended with no bids, and 1-4 over-priced ones where desperate impatient people got hosed.

Scalpers think like Razorclaw, "All good things succumb to those who wait."

Seconded. Please keep it in English, I've not got the ability to moderate in more than one language at a time ;)

This is true for buyers, too; I was recently able to find a Deluxe Movie Bonecrusher on Crave for $15 shipped. Although most old Classics and Universe figures are really expensive now (I'm trying to find a few as well), you may be able to find some for good prices if you just search for them often, and have patience.

Crave has been a pretty good site for buying and selling. Found a good deal myself.
