    Hi to all of Mike's friends here on TFW.
    It is with great sadness that I tell you that Mike passed away last night, on his 58th birthday. He had been battling ALS for over a year.

    I know we had met several of you at BotCons and these boards were a source of great enjoyment for him. His passion for Transformers was deep rooted in his soul.

    Thank you all for being good friends to him on here and in person.

    I'm very sorry for your loss, Marsha. While I did not know Mike personally, he has always been a wonderful presence on this site and in the collector community. When I joined this site back in '06 he was one of the most active members on here, and one whose contributions were always thoughtful and interesting. He really set the model for being a lifelong fan. He'll be very missed!
