What pissed me off is that he thinks he can tell people to watch it or not.
I don't care if you hate the movies, but's you don't have a right to tell people not to watch it.
I know it probably has little effect. But still

That's exactly my point. Everyone has their own expectations. Many people may share those, many people won't. Do you really require an explanation as to why someone would feel either way? It's not as though it's likely to change how you yourself (not you specifically, just generalizing) feel about the movies.

I enjoyed the movie too. I liked seeing the robots fight and interact, I even liked some of the scenes with Tucci and Wahlburg. But the only reason I liked the movie was because I like Transformers. I can still distinguish the critical flaws in the movie and understand why said flaws shouldn't be encouraged in the industry.

Given the nature of Aziz and his choice of profession, I'm more than willing to wager that he'd have no problem saying things that he says in real life too.

As far as your larger point, of course, people are generally more polite than on the internet, but your comment was still very much a "people in glass houses" comment. And besides, without the snark, the internet would be a very boring place.

And I couldn't agree more. I'm basically saying that everyone likes what they like, and doesn't like what they don't. You're mileage may vary.

The only reason it's a problem for me is that the more people don't ask for more from a movie, the less likely improvements will be made in future installments and I would like improvements to be made. That and I do just find it interesting to understand others views on things, even if their opinion is contrary to my own.

Wait why can't you tell people not to do something? I could understand if he was holding a gun to someone's head and said don't do it, but on the internet what kind of power do you hold over someone to force them to do or not do anything.

Unfortunately for Aziz...His "comedy is pretty wack. I've heard FEMALE stand-ups with better routines. No, I'm not sexist, but you all have to admit that MOST female comedians have pretty dry humor. I can't wait to change the channel when he comes on, whether it be TV or XM/SIRIUS.

LOL, Just so you know; making a sexist comment, then following it up with "But I'm no sexist," doesn't make it any less sexist.

If you have to start a sentence with "I'm not sexist/racist" or the classic "No offense, but", it's probably wise to not finish the sentence. :/

Yeah, you're sexist. Sexism- discrimination against a gender based upon pre-conceived notions that are not objectively supported.

    And..... Block.

Kind of amazing a relatively harmless comment from a comedian gets so blown out of proportion like this. Lighten up people. Somebody did not like the movie, he did not murder your family.

    THIS.

I'm against Feminazis, Political Correctness and Far-left-Liberalism and all but there is a limit when you want to provoke PC's. Don't try this again.

No kidding, then again the movie forum has always been kind of hypersensitive. Skimming the thread titles can be enough to determine this.
