What other artist spends 10-15 million dollars on an album and gets away with it? What other guy gets to work on an album for like 15 years and is still spoke of in the media. Crazy ass Axl Rose is my hero! He says what & when to the record company And they take it. I wish I could do that with my boss. All Pumpkins are racist, He is the only one willing to admit it!
Of course the only reason he could do it was because Guns & Roses was a popular band before & the record company was hoping all the G&R fans would flock to the new alblum. Of course from what I hear, people hate the new album and say it is nothing like classic G&R.
I've pretty much hated everything GnR have put out since UYI 1&2. The best thingsthey ever did were Lies and Appetite For Destruction. Not to mention that Axl himself is a complete tit.
What, they had one, maybe two good albums? A song here and there on the rest that were decent? I would have zero interest in a G&R album.
I liked that song Estranged, had alot of good guitar's in it. Long as hell though. I still want to see the Axl Rose vs Vince Neil match
He can say whatever he wants because he has a style of playing that still appeals to the general public, where other bands would have to be dictated by record labels in order to appeal to more then just certain groups of people. Besides, having alot of money helps because Labels know the importance of your stature. Isn't axle with a band called Velvet Revolver?
Some ex GNR members are in Velvet Revolver, but not Axl. They have Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots) singing for them I dont think Slash & Axl get along anymore
Axl Rose is a not so random assbag. The thing that made Gn' R kick so much ass (at least for Appetite) was the band.
During Appetite, he was prety cool, but after.....ASSBAG! He just showed too much disrespect to the industry and his fans, oh yeah, and neighbors. But all is forgiven If I get my free Dr Pepper dammit
I never really liked Weiland much. I only allow myself to like one heroin addict, and that honor went to Iron Man
Last I heard they were trying to get a new singer....did they decide to bag it all? That's too bad. Their second CD isn't that great but it was still cool to have a band with 3/5 Gn'R members.
I agree with this totally. Can't go wrong with Faith No More. If for anything else than the fact that "Big" Jim Martin is in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.
