Nick Offerman as Axe Cop, heh, that just works. Beyond that, I had no idea about this new thing on FOX...
I'd heard of Axe Cop the comic before, but didn't really understand what it was about (other than something about a Unicorn Baby). But that clip has got to be one of the funniest things I've seen in a long, long time. Totally gonna have to check this series out.
Basically it's a guy drawing the silly things his little brother comes up with. So it get crazier and crazier.
Yeah, written by a (then) 5 year old, you know it's going to have some crazy concepts. I've only read a little bit of it, but it is pretty funny.
I have something of a highly concetrated hatred for Axe Cop and company because I think there are so much superior webcomics that deserve attention, genuine artists left to rot in dark corners of the web while this five-years-old kid gets all the shots just because his brother can draw well enough to capture his madness and because his randomness somehow manages to be funny [not to me though, but then again I'm batshit insane]. So I hope this show goes to die in a fire after its first goddamn episode.
Enjoy it as much as it is humanly possible, I have nothing to do with what you will or you won't enjoy in your life. I'm merely saying on my account, this show would burn in a fiery Hell of lava for the aforementioned reasons. Just my two cents, as people like to say.
That's my point entirely. You just said you want the show to go away, entirely because you personally don't like it. You could have simply just said you don't care for it, and left it at that, but you felt the need to go on a mini rant. You cannot expect to say something like that, and not get criticized for it.
I enjoyed that clip much more than most of the comics----I hope the show maintains that different "feel". Reminds me a bit of The Tick.
It might be more worthwhile to spend your time and energy promoting those other webcomics and artists, rather than simply bashing one example.
