I've just watched the movie again now, and something hit me. Near the end of the movie, after they got in town and bumblebee got his legs ripped off, there's a shot where Sam is running away, and next shot he's laying on the ground telling bumblebee "I'm not gonna leave you". Such a big mistake really seems amateurish... They don't watch their movies before they release them? I mean, come on.
Are you saying "Why did Sam leave Bumblebee after he said he wouldn't leave him"? As I recall, Bumblebee gives Sam the cube. Sam didn't intend to leave Bumblebee, but then captain Lennox convinced him that he needed to run with the cube. I don't remember the exact sequence of events, but isn't that how it happened?
Sam is next to the girl, standing. Then Sam runs away. And the NEXT shot, he's laying on his back telling bumblebee that he won't leave him alone. Only after that does he take the cube and run. It's some kind of cut mistake, he should have never been shown standing next to the girl while he was supposed to be laying on his back near bumblebee all the time.
Yes, but this one is disturbing. I don't really know about the others, but as I said, it really feels amateurish. I mean, if Bay had watched the movie a few times before releasing it, he would have seen that. He's supposed to be a professional, I don't understand how is it possible that such mistakes exist in a theater version. And something tells me that it might not be corrected for the dvd/hd editions...
Hmmm, do think he´s really "running away? Maybe he´s just having a "quick" walk towards BB and then sitting down on the broken street??
Editing bloopers happen in all movies, at all levels. Just go to IMDB.com, search any movie, and click on "Goofs". Save yourself the aggravation, accept that it's just another part of movie-making, and enjoy the film...
Sadly it's really a mistake, and it kinda break the mood during this scene. Well, let's just hope that there's going to be some editing for the dvd version.
No, we're supposed to focus on the drama involving Sam and Bumblebee, not what's going on on the background. And that is why it kinda sucks.
Whatever. I didn't even notice it. But I wasn't there to look for mistakes or reasons to nitpick either. I was there to enjoy the first ever live action Transformers Movie and I had a great time!
I didn't notice it the 3 times I saw it, most people probably didn't notice it however many times they watched it, so why is it so surprising that it slipped through the cracks of editing?
Either way, it's not something I'm gonna look for and obsess over. "ZOMG!!!111!!!!!! They messed up on the scene!!!111!!!!!! I'm suing for them stealing my $7!!!!1!11!!"
Lol. I know exactly what scene you're talking about RHALX. It bugged me the hell out of me too, but I accepted that it's one of many mistakes in the flick. So I'm over it now. Lol.
I saw it three times and never noticed that mistake. May go see it again before it leaves theaters and look for it.
