I HIGHLY doubt Avatar 2 will make even close to what the first did. The only incentive I even have to see it is simply to see what the sequel is like. But I am also equally likely to not make the effort to see it
So MCU decided to pull out the final nail to be use to beat Avatar You think such move is good enough to garner $50M? Anyways, MCU might be needing extra help to beat Avatar. And speaking for help, this guy can lend a hand... One Marvel Fan Has Watched ‘Avengers: Endgame’ 115 Times The guy now can claim the name, "The Watcher"
I was thinking of seeing it again before it was done, but life kept getting in the way, so I'll probably go see it this weekend.
According to boxofficemojo.com, the special additions were added to the originals. I mean, if it didn't because they changed it, then Endgame's wouldn't count either since they're adding footage.
That's interesting. Guess that somewhat confirms that there isn't a time limit afterall... which is disappointing. They're not, though. The main movie is remaining untouched - they're just adding stuff AFTER it akin to bonus features: a deleted scene or two, a tribute thing, etc. Really no different than how they added the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer after the credits about a week or two later. But I guess none of this even matters anyway.
Gone With the Wind has had four or so releases, the last of which was probably this years for the 80th anniversary. Plus, if I recall correctly, at the time it was released, the studio milked it and had higher then normal ticket prices for the super wide screen experience.
I was actually thinking more of $1000, but, I was like, maybe I should give Disney a little more credit than to be that greedy. LOL
Lol, I mean $300-$400 is quite reasonable for 23 (including FFH) movies on Blu-ray/4K Ultra with deleted scenes, commentaries, bonus featurettes, etc. I’d certainly buy it, the only MCU movies I own are Iron Man 1 and Infinity War. So I’d be spending that much anyway getting all of them separately. Might as well get a dope-ass boxset!
I'm not sure sure of that, because I'm not sure how many of them I would actually watch again. I've only seen a few of them more than once. Avengers, like 3 times, the first Captain America twice, and Dr. Strange, I think I saw twice. The rest of them, to me have been pretty much a one and done. (Though, I may want to see cap 2 and 3 again sometime.) I just don't see a whole lot of need to watch them more than once. I like the movies, but there really isn't a whole lot of actual substance to them, or style. I just don't see myself seeing them for the 18 time, like the Tim Burton Batman Films. Which had a really awesome tone and style to them, that really set them apart, and make them endlessly enjoyable. So, I personally, see no reason to buy a box set of them. But, for those who do want it, I just hope Disney isn't going to be super greedy with it, and make it super expensive.

I wish that cover art was used for the steelbook too, instead of that oddly photoshopped cover they’re going with with a random Iron Man armor
I agree, but that's also just the Best Buy version. They released 3-4 variations of Infinity War in Steelbook, one of which was the poster art, so you should be okay in finding a version that looks like the above art somewhere. My bets would be via Target or Walmart now that they like doing their own exclusives.
Wow.. July on Digital and August in Physical? That was quick. I'm used where a movie gets a home version after 6 months or so. And the fastest was after 3 months. But this one, it was before 3 months (at least in Digital). Is this becoming a global trend now for home versions of hollywood flicks? Average of 3 months as the fastest?
