Got a shitty crowd too, huh? Mine ruined the experience through loud extended laughter
when Tony said "I am Iron Man" and then during Thanos's death.

It freaking sucks. I wonder what would be the best time to rewatch?

We had people behind us who would not stop loudly saying "What the f***?" or variations thereof to about every plot development, which of course happened frequently through all three hours. And then the couple in front of us had their 3 year old, who wanted to run up and down the stairs rather than watch, because SURPRISE he doesn't have the attention span for a three hour movie. I told my wife we picked the wrong seats!

No, that is wrong. Again, changing the past doesn’t change the present. The only way to branch the timeline is by removing any stones. THAT is what was stated and THAT is the law they made for the movie. Any differences are small blips that correct themselves back on course. IF he branched out to a different timeline, then old Cap wouldn’t have appeared in the current timeline. I have a feeling that Bucky knew Cap wasn’t going to come back and choose to live most of his life in the past because Bucky said “I’m going to miss you, Buddy” to Cap when he was really only supposed to be gone for 5 seconds.

    You’re repeating what I said.

I dislike the clapping. Its not like the cast and crew are present. Seriously, some claps go on for too long that you miss some dialogue.

    For example:
    Cap vs Cap
2012 Cap: I can do this all day.
*clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* Current Cap: Yeah *clap* *clap* I know *clap* *clap* *clap* I *clap* *clap* know *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

No, what you're saying is Steve went into the past and lived his life in the main timeline. That's impossible. He lived in a branched timeline. The infinity stones aren't the catalyst for branching the timeline.

Steve was never Peggy's husband in the main timeline.

It was a good end, but yeah lots of kids in my showing but most of them were quiet; I did hear some wailing noise that sound like it was from someone that was...what’s pc term...mentally challenged?

A few girls behind me started to tear up after the credit was over.

the way i see it Cap was already in the past the whole time. they hinted at that in civil war when he asks Peggy who the lucky guy was. Banner already said everything that happened had to, and how do you know he wasn't her Husband?

We just got back and I really enjoyed, though I’m still processing everything.

The only thing that I didn’t really care for at first, was Fat Thor. I get that they want to play up the comedy more with him now, because of how great Ragnarok was, but I dunno. Ultimately though, I got used to it and he did end up being amusing, so I guess bring on Fat Thor in the next Guardians.

Most everything else was pretty great though. Tony’s death and him getting to see his dad again, really got me. And then of course, there’s Steve, finally getting that dance with Peggy — of course he stayed there. Cap deserves his rest.

But the scene that almost made me lose it, was Happy with Tony’s daughter — when he asks her what she wants to eat, and she says “cheeseburgers”. Just a simple call-back to the first Iron Man, the movie that started it all... and now we’ve said goodbye to Tony and RDJ.

No, its not impossible because the entire movie showed you that it was possible. Living there or being there is enough and interacting with people is enough proof.

A "branched timeline" would not lead him back to the current one if he lived in it. It would have its own different future. You might want to watch the movie again. As I've already said, the Ancient One told Banner that the stones are what creates the flow of time.

Theres no proof saying that he wasn't.

Oh, another thing that didn't make sense to me. No big deal but...

Why does Thanos walk around with the Gauntlet on, acting all gimped when there are no stones in it?

He lived his life in a branched timeline with Peggy, and then when he was ready, returned to the main timeline. That’s it

Some people are pointing out that thor and sif sent one of the gems to the collector who had two gems at once in the same room at the same time. Why not grab them there?

The only possible way for him to have been married to Peggy was through time travel. And What can time travel not accomplish? Changing the timeline. Him being there as a result of time travel means he can not be a part of the main timeline until he leaves.

    Did he?
I thought he only had the Aether - ‘one down, five to go.’ The Power stone was only there for a couple of minutes when the Guardians brought it with them. Or am I misremembering here?

No your right. It was only there for a brief moment.
