Box Office Mojo Numbers
Budget: US$356 million
Since the music is one of my favorite elements of these movies, I decided to make this comparison. I'm currently listening to the Endgame soundtrack to find more comparisons to other musical themes in other MCU movies. It still is a shame that the buildup wasn't in Age of Ultron.
Definitely n her being outstation is just an excuse to not steal avengers thunder (too overpowered n not affected by IW loss like thor)
I want that on as big a poster I can find and hang it on my wall.
And its been out for...............five days.
The mission wasn't to prevent alternate timelines from being created, they already failed on that. The point was so the stones and Mjiolner were in the correct places at the correct time to be used in those alternate timelines when they were needed.
I'm assuming the temporal coordinates they input to allow the time jump includes a position fix as well as a time fix. And War machine, Nebula, Black Widow and Hawkeye time jumped off planet. They landed on Morag and then BW and Hawk took the ship to Volimir. The wizards can create portals to other planets because they're wizards, sourcerers. They have magic. It's not limited by power or our understanding of the universe. They use a sling ring and visualise where they want to go, and as long as they are trained enough to create the portals, they can make portals go wherever they want, in the universe. Thanos's ship fit through because anything that goes into the Quantumn realm shrinks. So his ship shrank down and got pulled through the quantumn realm, then as soon as it exited, it shot up to full size. That's why it wrecked the lab and time device when it came out and shot up through the roof.
But Thor already tried fighting Thanos without a weapon. When he defended his ship between Ragnarok and IW. And he got soundly beaten. So it makes sense he would realise he needs a weapon to go beat up Thanos. His lesson still applies, as in IW, he's not using Stormbreaker purely for his power, but rather using it to enhance the power he already has. That's why there's so much lightning flying around when he's using it, but when he used Mjilnor, there was not much lightning used unless he focused.
Could be a case of retroactive continuity.
Can you imagine if his blade was made of adamantium?
I feel bad for all of the other movie studios as they'll be lucky if a single movie they release this summer makes even half as much as Endgame. It's well deserved since Endgame was just amazing all around. In fact, it's so good I kind of wish Spider-Man 2 was next year instead of this year as this would have been perfect as the be all end all comic book movie of 2019.
Yeah, so I am really thinking at the end...
Cap goes back to stay and all three visions of AoU come true. Steve figures his out in the 70s. If someone saw this multiple times can confirm, it is Bucky who recognizes the real Steve Rogers at the end first and when Falcon sees Steve, Steve look depowered?? Or maybe the 70+ on ice catches up since he goes back. I am so used to seeing Cap, I missed it...also 'cuz the feels, lol
Ended up watching this movie twice over the weekend, surprisingly, there were more reactions the second time I watched it
And both times the movie wrecked me emotionally
I'm pretty sure he went further back than the 70s. Maybe back to just after he crashed the plane in the ice. When the camera is zooming in on the house, the cars driving by were more of that era than the 70s. Just my thought anyway.
He went back to either the late 40s after WWII or the early 50s
Right. I think a lot of people just assumed the 70s because that's where he saw her when he was trying to get the Pym particles.
I think I gave Avengers: Infinity War an 11, so this one's cranked up to 13. Out of 10 possible points.
It still hasn’t quite sunk in that this was the end. It’s surreal almost. I don’t want things to be over...
For that I’m glad that certain characters are getting follow ups.
@Rusty24 I agree, I’m more looking forward to the sequels then the new stuff. And the TV shows, which will focus on characters we are already familiar with.
No idea why, the cars, clothes, and music are a dead give away.
funny to think this whole time she knew. This has always had to have been a possibility, there’s no way they wouldn’t show her husband at the funeral or in photos when young Steve is around
I too saw this movie twice this opening weekend, something I've never done for any movie before. Weird how the second showing crowd reacted to parts the first crowd didnt and vice versa. Anyway,
iron mans death still fucked me up the second time and the second crowd was just more silent except for a kid who was BAWLING because his hero died. I think the whole theater felt for him
That part I know...
I know at the end he goes back further to marry Peggy, I am just saying he figured it out his AoU vision in the 70s when he is in her office.
Five times now. Five.
I have a problem*
*its called I just don't want this to be the End.
