We probably won’t learn it till Q4 of this year at the earliest.
Calling, it's going to be Young Avengers. (Nvm i meant for 5 )
Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige on Why the Decision to Withhold Avengers 4 Title 'Backfired' - IGN
Expecting the title to be Infinity Gauntlet
Well, they’re saying we should be scared of the title or something. What if they went with “disassembled”?.
I know that title has nothing to do with this story line but yeah.
Kevin Feige Calls 'Avengers 4' the Conclusion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
I would love that to be true, but I still don't believe the assertion considering Spider-Man & Guardians sequels have already been announced, there will presumably still be more sequels for Strange, Panther, Ant-Man & Captain Marvel, and now all these Widow prequel solo movie rumors also popping up.
If anything though, we'll start to see them become more stand alone and less interactive with each other.
More smaller, self contained stories.
I certainly hope so. I have loved (nearly) every minute of the connected MCU, but I've also been saying for a couple of years now that it DOES need an endgame. That's my hope for Avengers 4 - where anything afterward is sort of optional viewing rather than mandatory the way all the current movies have been. I'm interested in seeing how the Guardians "trilogy" wraps up, have zero desire to keep up with this incarnation of Spider-Man via solo movies, and sort of wish Ant-Man, Strange, Panther & Captain Marvel were all just great intro movies that didn't necessarily require two sequels apiece the way the "Big 3" all got. Guess we'll find out in a year where this all actually lands.
Yeah, it’s just a season finale of everything so far. The end of certain heroes, undoubtedly. But not for everyone. Just like how the commercials are hyping up “where will you be when it all ends?”
I can’t wait to see Carol Danvers get her drunk ass out of space and beat up a grape while he sits and watches the sunset.
It may take more than Capt Marvel. If they're going to be faithful, then Guardian of the Galaxy Adam Warlock may make his debut in Avengers 4 to stop Thanos.
What he means is a lot of the actor's contracts are up and this may be the last movie with the classic cast.
Marvel will keep making movies, they may just focus on other characters if certain actors don't want to reup. Especially if th Fox deal doesn't collapse. Then in 2 to 5 years they may recast characters or coax the previous actors to return with big pay checks.
I was thinking about that today and I really hope that is the case. He was in the original, it’s only fitting if he is in this too. However I worry about setting him up in just one film alone.
Nah. According to both Fiege and Gunn Adam Warlock won't be showing up until Guardians Vol 3. So they're probably going to do something different for A4.
My current guess is Gamora will play Adam's role of weakening Thanos from inside the Soul Stone.
Yeah I know, it was just wishful thinking.
I think you might be right in that, I have been wondering if since she was used to aquire it there might be connection between it and her.
She has a similar psychological effect on Thanos to Warlock's, and now she has the same connection to the Soul Stone as he does too. I didn't really think they did her character justice in Infinity War, but this could be a genius way to reference her role in the very first Thanos story.
What's more, she's probably the only cast member who can talk down Nebula after she gets the Gauntlet.
After all, Infinity War is loosely adapted from six-issue Avengers comics run of the same name.
But then again, here's another possible title: Infinity Crusade.
I was thinking:
Heroes Reborn or Heroes Return
Since there's no chance in hell of the MCU doing the whole Onslaught thing.
Separate names with a comma.
