How could the autobots win in ROTF when pretty much they only have a handfull of good warriors and the decepticons have a shitload of badasses?. I think the autobots should kind of lose, or not win like Empire Strikes Back with the rebels, Luke, Han, etc. It would make you look forward to TF3 to see the conclusion. What do you guys think?
Maybe the Autobots win bec. the Decepticons all dry up in Egypt after Wheelie stole their bottled water.

Would be great, but not the case. The movie isn't going with a cliffhanger. Been stated many times by people involved with the project, and all material on the movie shows that to be the case.
Yeah. I was just thinking of like "they may have won the battle, but not the war" type ending. but it is kind of a cliffhanger when SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SPOILER!!! Megatron is on the nemesis with another army saying rise at the end
Well, see, that sounds nice in concept, but really, no one wants a downer ending. People watch action movies to escape reality and feel good about something (especially with all this depressing world news). And nobody wants the villains to win. Trust me, a lot of other movies have tried to pull a bad ending, but the ending has always been changed after test audiences didn't like them.
True. I just hope the ending isnt like the autobots have no chance of winning then all of a suuden they win. kinda like the first 1 hope its not rushed. There better be some sick battle scenes haha
Well, they have Prime, Sideswipe, Ironhide as excellent fighters, Jolt and Bumblebee are pretty good too, and though he is not often recognized as a fighter, Ratchet kicked butt in the first movie, so Ratchet is a great fighter as well. Also, they have Jetfire and The Air force. That is a key reason to why they win.

Given the creative team the Decepticons don't have any chance at all. No way any of them would dare break away from the Hollywood cliche of such a clear cut victory for the good guys that even the thickest person ever to watch the film couldn't miss the good guys won. So the Decepticons will come out looking like they are unstoppable during the first part of the film only to have their metal asses handed to them hard by the combo of the Autobots and the humans. Because you know we can't break the Hollywood cliche of there is nothing in the universe that humans can't beat.
Got to admit it would be nice to see the autobots go down in this movie to make it like a proper battle for earth in the last movie.Of course the good guys are going to win eventually but they could give us something to get excited about.
