You know what I learned when I joined? The importance of punctuation. Periods, commas, and question marks really have meaning here.
Without a question mark, I thought this thread would give me the price of the Autobots United boxset. With a question mark, I would've known it was asking the price.
First, the MSRP on a Generations deluxe is $15, not $10 (yeah, Walmart is running that price, but Walmart undercuts everybody), so the equation then becomes 15+15+15+25+25+premium. Given the "retail cost" of those figures is about $95, and there will likely be a bit of premium to that for the extra paint apps, I'm leaning towards a price around $100-110. (Comparitively, the Grimlock/Bruticus set had a retail value of about $95, and is being sold for around $100) But AFAIK, a price wasn't explicitly given at Botcon.
No price was given, but aren't multipacks, generally speaking, are priced a little bit lower than what all those figures would cost if purchased individually-packaged? I mean, with your cited example being an outlier. Or am I just that put-of-touch with multipacks?
I'm actually really interested in that three pack with the rally car Generations skids recolor. The United Pack offers. Silver swords for Drift, and The Evasion prime with the faceplate. I think also think hound may be a brighter green. I think their a platinum series. So Amazon, Toys R Us, or Bigbadtoystore are the spaces to watch for a price. $70 would be alright.
Didn't know about Prime's faceplate, but I know that almost all of them have paint app and/or color tweaks, other than the ones you mentioned. Specifically, Crosshairs appears to be a different shade of green, and has more extensive paint on his robot mode. (And the paint on his vehicle mode might be symmetrical now, not sure.)
