I personally own more Autobots than Decepticons, but just barely.
I'm also curious if there are any statistics about the amount of Autobots purchased versus the amount of Decepticons.

EDIT: When I say "Autobots" I really just mean the good robots; so it encompasses Dinobots and Maximals, and whichever other good faction I might've left out. Same goes for Predacons and such.

 

Autobots, but it would be even if the factions were always evenly sold.

I seem to own more Autobots at the moment, as well as more Maximals, for that matter. I'm not sure why, exactly. Seems to have just ended up that way. *shrugs*

 

I'm a Decepticon fan but I own more Autobots than Decepticons because Hasbro makes more Autobots than they do Decepticons. I mean it's not like I could pass up something like Universe Ratchet just because I wanted to even up the numbers.

So what ever faction Hasbro makes the most of that's the faction I'll have the most figures of.

 

I own 135 Bots, 89 Cons.

I actually have more Decepticons than Autobots. I like the feeling that the Autobots are badly outnumbered, but still fight.

I think I have much more Autobots than Decepticons, not really on purpose. I just happen to like Autobot character designs more, especially for the Movie lines. As for Classics stuff there just aren't enough new mold Decepticons.

 

I had more Decepticons...until yesterday. Yesterday I got Sideswipe, Ironhide, & The Fallen, which caused me to have one more Autobot figure than Decepticons. In terms of characters though, I have more Decepticons. But in terms of figures, I have more Autobots.

I always aim to have even Autobots and Decepticons (Maximals and Predacons come under 'Bots and 'Cons respectively, as do the good and bad Crossovers figures). I currently have two extra 'Cons, but that's due to my brother doing a massive cleanup of his room and giving me his two Cheetors (TM2 and original - the original was mine, but I gave it to him to even my numbers out). I then counted my Universe Ruination as five figures instead of one, giving me two extra Con's. Thankfully, Hasbro makes shit-tons of 'Bots, so it shouldn't be too hard to even out.

 

It varies from line to line but over all I have more decepticons. Starscream does more than his part in this as I have 119 of him.

 

Autobots, i think-originally, i just got the good guys, and my bro got the bad ones, during like RiD, but we only got a few. then we stopped collecting till the movie, and i became a completionist. so im not sure, but i think its bots

 

Autobots, wish i had more Movie Decepticons.

 

The only decepticons I own are MP Megatron, MP Starscream, MP Skywarp, and MP Thundercracker. Also the Ravage that comes with Henkei Hound but other than that everything I own is Autobot. I do not really collect decepticons and will likely get rid of the MPs at some point.

 

I actually like to keep it as even as possible, but overall I have about 5 more Autobots. However, in my display collection (using one mold per character for each show/movie/toyline/etc.), I only have one more Autobot. My Prime buying disease tips it in the Bots's favor when I consider everything.
