His toy was a new version of Brawn, yes. But the character was a different guy. Due to trademark issues, any new homages to Outback are being called Fallback (the Botcon 05 figure, the upcoming HFTD figure which is also a Brawn remold)

Althought he looked like him and they could of done they same things to the rest of the Autobots the same thing they did to Megatron, Thundercracker, Skywarp and the Insecticons and reformat them, instead of leaving us with Autbots that i never liked except for Ultra Magnus, Blaster, Perceptor and Springer and leaving us with Rodimus to be the leader and he wasnt a good leader i would of prefered Ultra Magnus as leader he would of made a better leader althought he was responsible when Autobot City was being built and he was the Commander of Autobot City under Prime's orders.

Yeah outback didn't even have a 1 percent of a one percent of G-1 Brawns god like strenght.

the thing I loved about brawn was how incredible powerful he was in the G-1 cartoon series. it was like watching the incredible hulk in action.

And none of which compare to the Hulk trowing anything.

I'll admit he held his own, particularly for his size. But thats about it.

He never came off as the strongest TF.

Thundercracker,Soundwave, Megatron....none of them were 5 or 10 times bigger them Brawn.

So your statement doesnt hold water.

    No offense.

Wasn't Brawn the strongest of the '84 cast... other than maybe Prime?

I do believe he was...on the Autobots team anyway.

But to describe him as the "Hulk" of Transformers is an overstatement in my opinion.

Different hands too. Brawn's toy had claws, Outback's had hands. Outback also had a gun accessory, the only Minibot to have an accessory in fact.

Yes, it's stated in his tech specs that Brawn was physically the second strongest Autobot. It doesn't come out much in the cartoon or the comics, other than frequently knocking out stronger characters than him, and that one occasion he beat up Megatron and took his cannon. I think that was Fire on the Mountain.

Not quite The Hulk of the Autobots though. You need to go to the Animated version for that level of strength, though again it doesn't come out much since he only gets a short clip to show off his strength.

In any case, back to the original point, Brawn and Outback are completely independent characters. Brawn died in Transformers the Movie, and Outback made his debut shortly after the Movie. Of course, Brawn was seen post-movie as an animation / continuity error, but there were plenty of those in Season 3.

No that would be of ROTF Brawn.

I like Brawn because he is the BRAWN! Outback is cool also because he one of the few Austrailian accented charecters.

    Yeah, i mean, wth?

Maybe that 1 dudes post was wrong about the hulk comparison (more troll like actually) but name another autobot that handled those guys like brawl did in hand to hand combat.

Then again its the sunbow cartoon n they had ratchet perform that flying kick on thundercracker, so yeah.

Regarding outback (fallback? Wtf?) its kinda funny the times he appeared in comics its as victims when hes supposed to be a survivalist.
