$115 dollars worth of figures for almost 1/3 more? Sounds great! /s

They could at least throw a proper Blurr and Hotrod in there.

I'd maybe get it on sale if it didn't have that awful Ultra Magnus.

Ultra Magnus is the only enticing one for me - the deeper colours and a few details from the Legends version, without the overboard level of detail of that version (speaking as someone who goes for cartoon accuracy).

Curious to know if Kup will suffer any of the mis-assembly issues that plagued Botcon Hoist and Electro.

I think I'll pass. I have all of those figures except Arcee, and I sold Blurr because him having an Earth mode didn't fit him IMO. They should have used TR Blurr.

Not sure how I feel about the $35 markup. I\'d be much more forgiving if this came with Rodimus and TR Wheelie in addition to the figures that are already included

I don't have any of these figures minus Springer. I dunno, I may put it on my Christmas list. Otherwise I'll wait for a review on YouTube and see if I'm better off hunting down the LG/Hasbro versions.

Transformers Platinum Edition: Let\'s Price Stuff So That Nobody Buys Them.

Like I don\'t get the entire approach. If they\'re not absolutely the most hideous things ever made (Year of the Goat), they\'re apallingly overpriced for what they are, especially when for the target audience - collectorts and hardcore fans - they\'re likely the second round we\'d be buying.

The idea is to get us to BUY these things right? Because I would... if the box set were like $80 tops. Remeber when there are $35 Revenge of the Fallen box sets of 3 deluxes? Yeah there hasn\'t been 300% inflation since 2009. But how else do execs show "growth" in a line getting crowded out of stores by Marvel and Star Wars?

as much as i would like to get Magnus and Arcee i can't justify this set as I already own the other three figures in the set.

At least in my local retailers, the Marvel part is correct but Transformers is competing with Power Rangers, WWE, and Tube Heroes over shelf space. Star Wars has an entire isle at Target and Toys R Us and a sizeable space in Walmart.

Love the decos on this set, but I can't see buying it unless I can get it in the $100 range.

    And CHUG Wreck-Gar.

Gotta remember that there is a new Star Wars movie coming, so lots of merchandise to move.
