Hahaha it's great to see thuis again! I'll forward the thread to Godert and see if he can spare a reaction. These are VERY old pics. Three years ago he sold his entire collection to make way for his personal life. He's been a very happy camper ever since but is still a little involved in the Dutch transformers community. iDD
Hey guys! The creator of Autobot City just sent me this picture to post here. This is at least 12 years ago! Awesome shot isn't it. He has since sold off his collection iDD
After seeing the ark playset thread zombified I decided to do the same with this one. When will one of us attempt to one-up this guy and try our hand at a super-detailed version of Autobot City??
I've long wanted to do something like this but I don't have the space for it. I've always said if I were to ever afford to get a shed in my backyard I'd give it a try since I could use the whole thing and dedicate it specifically just for that. I've seen trainset builders do something similar.
I had and idea to build one in modular sections using plastic pallets as a base for each section and using styrene and basically cannibalizing model kits, other toys, and industrial plastics to make the towers.
Not necessarily. It's not as big as i initially wanted but I'm working on one that's 6 x 3 feet with Metroplex, Fort Max, Countdown, and Omega Supreme as the core focus but there's still a lot of figs that I want to add plus accessories, buildings and miniatures.
