Well, I've been in school for machining for a year and a half now about, and finally learned how to do some engraving. This is made out of a 3 inch chunk of aluminum. Not the highest quality pic, as its from my phone fresh out of the CNC machine....

I knew I was going to get some sort of "finished" comment out of you.....

anyways, as for what I'm going to do, I'd like to maybe paint it up, never painted aluminum before, what sort of paint works good for aluminum?

Anyways, thanks guys. I'm probably going to modify the program a bit and make a few more.

    I can't imagine why :ev:

As far as painting, acrylic should be fine as long as your surface is primed well.

What are your intentions with it after you finish the painting? Are you going to use it as a display stand or a wall decoration perhaps?
