Brawn finally got to the power generator room.

"We're under attack?! The teachers can take care of this, why can't we get back to the dorms. It's not safe out here." Ironfist said.

 

The room in question was a standard Energon-Reaction Generator room, mostly empty on the floor, with the wall opposite him containing a cylindrical tube of golden metal, three bands of glowing cyan, and the opposing walls covered in armored tubes containing wires.

Oddly, nothing appeared to be wrong with the generator itself...

 

Silverbolt and Velocity finally got to the scene.

"Decepticons!" Velocity pointed at the TEKU members.

"No, these are others. They're a street racing gang, known as TEKU. Nothing major really but I don't know what would they want from the academy." Silverbolt replied.

"People may be in danger, we need to help them." Rad stated.

"I will try something..." Ramjet replied as he transformed and flew off.

He flew around, observing the damage and what was happening and then landed before the running Base-Line.

"Halt!"

Misfire turned to Bomb and Hosehead.

"How many are still around? Did any Decepticons ran away?"

 

Rollout soon arrives at the generator room behind Brawn.

"Alright, starting looking for any foreign objects, like EMP generators" Rollout said.

"It... uh... it looks like it" said Bomb-Burst.

 

Nothing odd would be found in the room except a few blown out fuses. It appeared as if something gave the generators a surge, or sapped the electricity from them.

Scorch turned to Rollout.
"It's fine, it's not something I talk about every day."
He then looked around the room.
"Everything seems normal..."
He started looking closer, until he found a broken electricity gauge.
He turned to the other two.
"This might be one clue... the gauge last reads that the generators were having a fluctuation in power."

Base-Line used his rearmounted Speakers to start sending soundwaves at Superlink.
"FRAG OFF YOU MISGUIDED DELINQUENT!"
Base-Line was about to activate his Nitrous booster, when Ramjet landed in front of him.
Base-Line swerved to the left into an adjacent street, heading to the forest.
"Sorry got no time kids!"

Duon's color shifted as noticed Silverbolt and Velocity at the scene, and he rolled over.
"Hey, flyboy, can you get in the air and see what's going on? We have no clue where one of our culprits went."
He turned to Galleom.
"We need to find our little friend first before we fry them."

The clone went down in one swing, dissolving into dust on the ground. It appeared as though the battle was over.

Voltage got the notification from Tekno, and turned away.
"Sorry kid, but I ain't got time for your petty heroics. I'm outta here."
He transformed, and took off, gone in 60 seconds.

Hightail groaned.
"Awww, but I wanted to keep going!"

Downbeat met Voltage down the street, and they started off towards the forest.

 

"W-HEY! Get back here!" Hot Shot shouted, but unfortunately his attempt at pursuit was foiled by the clunky nature of weaponizer armor, causing him to fall over. A brief pause in Hot Shot's voice soon gave way to "YEAH, YOU BETTER RUN!"

 

"Misguided?! How come I am misguided when you are attacking Autobot territories?" Superlink asked as he swiftly dodged the waves.

This body formation seemed to be more agile and swift compared to his normal one.

"We wasted our time here!" Brawn shouted as he punched the wall "I hate it when something's going on below our feet."

"What now? Since Ramjet left us..."

 

Base-Line's tires and exhaust pipes glowed a light blue as Nitrox coursed through his systems.
"Much as I'd like to stat and chill, I gotta bounce buddy. Later!"
His altmode blasted off towards the forest, leaving only a small trail of dust.

Longshot rubbed his head as he walked up next to Hosehead and Bomb-Burst.
"Ugh, did we win?"

Hightail started cheering, pumping her hands in the air.
"OH YEAH, WE WON WOOHOO!!!"

Gridlock touched down next to her.
"There you are. You ok sis?"

Hightail groaned.
"You don't have to go looking for me everytime I do something fun!"

Gridlock shrugged.
"I'm your brother it's my job.
Hightail groaned louder.
"No it's not."
"Yes it is."
"No it's not."
This arguement went on for some time.

"You think someone sapped it?" asked Rollout.

He then looked at Brawn.

"In the basement" he stated. "No lower floors."

"Or beat them, or mash them, or burn them, or..." listed Galleom.

"Trust me, it's better this way" yelled Convex.

"You sure showed them" Cog said sarcastically.

"I believe so" muses Hosehead.

 

"Ah, like you did anything..." Hot Shot said to nobody in particular.

MEANWHILE, ON TOP OF A NEARBY BUILDING JUST TALL ENOUGH TO BE OUT OF EARSHOT

"Well, that resolved itself nicely," a blue copter-bot noted, "Certainly better then in Iacon."

"For the last time, I'm sorry about that," a red car-femme snarled in response.

"Still, security's gonna be heightened by this nonsense."

"Eh, not that big an issue..."

 

“You see ALL these weapons” said Cog. “That’s my contribution. I play support.”

 

"Is it over?" Misfire asked.

Ramjet landed before Superlink and stopped him.

"Leave him. If you go after him, this will only lead to more violence. He had enough and you did good."

Rad soon arrived.

"What happened?"

"This student here fought one of the Decepticons who attacked the academy. But he managed to drive them away, or at least one of them."

"Nice."

"Sure." Silverbolt flew into the air "I see some destruction here and there but no TEKU members."

 

"I'll get you next time, Decepticon scum!" Superlink shouted towards the driving away TEKU member.

He then looked at Ramjet.

"Fear not, friend! I, Superlink, saved your punny lives."

"I was speaking figuratively!" Brawn replied, grinding his teeth.

 

"He just asked that" Bomb-Burst smirked. "But I think so."

"Let's just try to fix it" sighs Rollout.

 

"Uh... You okay, pal?" Ramjet asked.

"Phew. Waaait... Where did that Superlink fella went?"

Silverbolt and Velocity looked around for the TEKU.

"They have retreated."

"And?" Velocity asked

"I'm going after them. They might attack the gala, I can't accept that."

"You're more needed here. If someone attacks the gala, the teachers need to be here to defend it!"

 

"Can I punch somethin?" Brawn asked.

Superlink's parts shifted and soon enough he was back to normal.

"Huh, hey. Do I know you?" he asked, looking somewhat confused.

 

"He leapt out the window while we were fighting that guy" said Bomb-Burst. "Nooooo clue why."

Rollout groans.

"No, that'll just break it even more."

 

Longshot shrugged.
"He isn't our problem. Dude's loonier than Nightracer. Wait, scrap, don't tell her I said that."

Scorch groaned.
"As if punching it's gonna fix it."
He kicked the generator in frustration.
The Generators slowly whirred to life.
Scorch tilted his head.
"Uh, did I just do that?"

Elsewhere an Autotrooper connected the last disconnected jumper cable onto the power box. He sighed.
"That's the last of the damaged power boxes."

Roadblock reached the fight area, seeing cracks and tears everywhere.
"Damn, missed the battle... I'm outta here, see ya later... uh, what's your name Missy?"

Duon nodded.
"That's logically sound. We'll want to protect here first."
He shifted colors and now he was blue.
"I'm gonna get some engex. Anyone wanna come with?"

The rest of the TEKU finally made it to CD pub. Downbeat groaned.
"Never. Do that again."
Voltage panted, hands on his knees.
"Ugh, remind me to never use that special technique again... my head hurts like hell."
Sling-Wing shrugged.
"Maybe you should try spotting some more."
Voltage slapped him with a whip.
"You shut your mouth rookie."
Tekno exited.
"What took you Downbeat?"
Downbeat straightened himself up.
"Let's see... Autotroopers, really tough as nails Guardsman, some Duo-Con who could change his robot modes at will, and the Academy students. Didn't realize they'd be tough as nails."
Tekno nodded.
"You're lucky you only ran into the Freshmen. I heard from other sources the Teachers were about to step in."
Base-Line shrugged.
"Would've taken it nonetheless."
Tekno looked to Downbeat.
"We got a notice from our hacker friend Rev-Up. He says he found a private forum that's run by one of the students. You know what we found?"
Downbeat groaned.
"Don't tell me it's one of those Conspiracy sites."
Tekno nodded.
"It was, but that's not the concern. The concern regards video footage we captured, along with this notice board. The student theorizes that one of their teachers was a part of a racing gang because of the logo on his foot. We brushed it off at first but... look at the footage here."
He handed Downbeat a datapad.
Downbeat growled.
"You cannot be serious."
Tekno shrugged.
"More serious than a Spark Attack. We have a plan to get revenge. All we need to wait for is for Megatron to start his little party. After that, it's a no holds bar match."
Downbeat grinned.
"Heh. I look forwards to the day when we can punch the face of that young traitor into his thick skull."

 

"Oh, it's... Quickstitch."

ELSEWHERE...

"*ACHOO!*" Nightracer rubber her nasal vents, "Huh. Must've inhaled some rust."

"Ay, fair enough."

 

"You okay, kid?" Ramjet knocked on Superlink's head.

Rad chuckled.
