New for Auto Assembly 2010 is the Fan Sales Table. It will either be located on the Registration Desk or a stand-alone table if we have enough items on it, this will give all of you the chance to sell your unwanted items in a safe, controlled environment with minimal effort! You can use this table to sell anything as long as it is Transformers related (although we may expand this!). However you can not bring unauthorised copies of DVDs, CDs, etc, knock-off toys, import DVDs etc. Simply bring your items to the desk and name your asking price. You will be asked to complete a declaration form authorising us to sell them on your behalf and then you will be given a ticket for each item. You can check back at any time during the weekend to claim your money, alter your selling prices or even withdraw your items from sale. Please note that 10% commission will be taken from the sale of each item towards convention funds. The sales table will be running from Friday evening right through to Sunday and will be the ONLY sales table trading on Friday. We will also have some BRAND NEW items that have been supplied to Auto Assembly for sale to raise money towards the convention's running costs and we thought we'd start this thread to bring you a list of some of the confirmed and expected items from attendees that we will have along with prices. We will take reservations for some of these and you can pick up most from Friday onwards. = Transformers Animated = Deluxe Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Bumblebee (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Bumblebee (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Lockdown (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Snarl (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Snarl (MOSC) - £10 Deluxe Oil Slick (MOSC) - £10 = Beast Wars = Big Convoy (Korean packaging) - MISB - £35 Walmart Blue Transmetal Rattrap (MOSC) - £15 = Beast Machines = Rattrap (MISB) - £25 = Power Core Combiners = Combaticons (MOSC) - £25 = Binaltech = BT-11 Laserwave (MISB) - £70 = DVDs = Beast Wars Vol. 1 - £3 = Battle Beasts = Assorted loose, various condition - £1 each More to follow...
The catalogue will be going online tonight so if you want to add anything, email your lists to me at autoassembly@aol.com by about 9:00 pm tonight and I'll get them into the first edition. We've got just under 100 things confirmed for the table but reservations are coming in thick and fast so some stuff is going quickly before it's even hitting the table! We already have confirmed:- Animated Beast Wars Beast Machines G1 parts RiD Binaltech DVDs Power Core Combiners Universe Battle Beasts Books and comics Retro video games (Commodore 64, Playstation, PS2, Sega Megadrive, Master System) WWE figures and loads more!
How do i reserve stuff? Does anyone know if the THS-01 Galaxy convoy is complete? it just says loose. (item 84) (edit) worked out how to reserve.
Originally there were a couple of parts missing when it was first submitted to the listing but the guy selling it found them and had me correct the entry so as far as I know he is bringing a complete toy for sale.
This is an excellent idea. I have a boatload of stuff I have no interest in having anymore. Will have to trawl through them next weekend and bring some stuff along. I don't understand your position on import DVDs though...
Import DVDs don't have BBFC certificates and as such are illegal to sell in retail (or collectors fair / convention) environments and import DVDs are only licenced for sale in specific countries. Trading Standards have the right to turn up at Auto Assembly (or any other event) without notice and inspect items for sale and dealers tables and if they find infringing items like these if we are LUCKY they'll withdraw them from sale and give us a warning. Otherwise we could have the table forced to close, be faced with a fine or even have the convention closed. I am aware of dealers who used to attend Memorabilia at the NEC in Birmingham who sold Region 1 DVDs that had to withdraw from attending because of these restrictions, and Computer Exchange also used to buy / sell Region 1 DVDs but stopped as well.
If you get your stuff sorted and can let me have a list in advance, we can start taking reservations for you. We've had that happen with a lot of people so a massive chunk of stuff has already gone!
So it has all the hands, cyber key and all that? EDIT: also just a question, i noticed that Big Bad Toy store and robot kingdom are sponsering AA, will they have tables in the Dealer room?
Hmm, I'm thinking I might bring a few items with me to sell as well. Will have to go through my stuff. Should we be submitting lists before the con?
To answer a few points in one go... 1. Both the Hybrids have now been reserved! 2. BBTS and Robotkingdom are hopefully long-term sponsors of the convention but this will more be through advertising rather than physically being there. 3. You can just bring items along to the convention and add them that way, but we will still need to do *some* paperwork to log everything and ensure that people get paid properly for their sales and to track items so it's easier if we know in advance. Also, that way people can reserve things and you may get stuff sold before you even arrive!!
Latest update of the list has just gone live guys:- Auto Assembly Almost 300 items now. Feel free to PM or email me to reserve stuff. You still have time to add things or even just bring them along to the convention! Simon
