Used the search feature to see if a thread for this guy was up, turns out there isn’t so I might as well break the ice on it. My VERY FIRST *ACTUAL* Starscream figure (not counting the Dollar Tree minifigure I got last Christmas), I got him a couple months ago at Smiths for only $8 & change, but never opened him up until now, so here he is! Starscream in Jet mode Jet mode comparison with Cybertron Soundwave Starscream in robot mode (advance warning, he is EXTREMELY difficult to stand up under his own power. Would recommend a display stand, OR, see my post below showing a DIY method to remedy the problem) Robot mode comparison with Cybertron Soundwave Starscream & Soundwave with Cybertron Galvatron And a little thing I had planned since I initially bought him; color in part of him to make him more accurate to the character design image (seen below for comparison)
No, that looks like a new mold. I seen one of these awhile ago and almost bought it. It does not look bad at all. Good review!
Minor update: One thing I did to help Starscream be able to stand under his own power including posing is taping a couple small pieces of cardboard to the back of his legs to act as heel support and it has definitely improved him quite a bit.
Thank you, and yes; this IS a new mold, and since he’s in that Voyager Class-scaled Alpha line, he goes perfectly with CHUG figures (I have him in between Legacy Jhiaxus & Blitzwing on my shelf)
