Either that's a VERY rare advance screening, or it's an error, as the other Hoyts cinemas all have it opening on the 24th, as do all the other Aussie cinemas (Village, AMC, Imax, etc).

Lucky, considering you're ten odd hours behind if you live near Greenwich Mean TZ. :D

The 18th seems to have disappeared, now back to the 24th.
I'm in Melbourne for work that week so I think I'll try to get to that Imax midnight screening.

Is this a fact and does it apply to all cinemas? The one near me is an Empire cinema, and due to their rubbish telephoen service you cant actually ever speak to a human being so i havnt been able to find out for sure. How did you find out?

i dont think the people that run the Australian hoyts website are very smart. For one they created a god awful layout that is completely non user-friendly, and you can no longer find out which sessions are in a G-max cinemas and which arent at your local hoyts and since each individual hoyts cinema page is edited by an employee working at that cinema the dates can be wrong and usually up to three days late after the films release to be updated on their web page

Depends, Reading Cinemas will get you $9 for a Kid, roughly $16 of an Adult.
Hoyts, $11 for Kids, $17.50 for Adults.
