Tbf, no one is forcing to buy from them. It was a okay that's the price, huh. Move on to other options.

It was still way more expensive than other countries getting charged!

Besides, there's not exactly any readily-available replacement for a CHUG-scale Omega Prime, 3P or otherwise...

Both Hasbro ("we can't dictate retailers' prices") and EB ("sorry, that's what Hasbro is setting the price as") denied responsibility for the price, which was absurdly above the exchange rate, and just shrugged off consumer enquiries and complaints with no intention of ever looking into it.

A pox on both their houses.

Ebbs and flows. Remember HasLab Unicron. Got a great deal at EB Games / Zing. Then get an overpriced HasLab Omega Prime and peeps cry murder.

    Anyhoo, back to sightings...
JB HiFi (Highpoint VIC) has those Retro Movie Kickback for $24. Don't mind if I do.
EDIT: Shrapnel showing online for full price $60.

Remind me, as someone who last handled an actual G1 Kickback some time around 1989, how amenable is it to a Missing Link treatment?

So, is there anyone at all out there who might like Legacy United Soundwave but also not want Buzzsaw?

Because I have no intention of buying another Soundwave (I have the perfectly good Netflix one that this is a re-issue/slight re-paint of) just to get Buzzsaw, or a duplicate Frumble, and I sure as hell don't want another Siege Ravage...

    It’s not ER Ravage?

In my ideal world, Takara would re-release the Dramatic Scene figure but with all of the cassettes. I would pay leader price for that.

What ER Ravage? You mean the thing that came with Netflix Soundwave? Same rubbish toy, just with different colours, for the third time.

They retooled the head for the Netflix one. And with the Legacy release actually painted the teeth. Barely a distinct figure but if King Grimlock is genuinely wondering which one, it is the ER one. I appreciate the extra paint (yellow eyes stand out better too, without checking I would have said those were unpainted like the teeth last time)

Now Laserbeak, super appreciate they took the time to do the different heads between Siege and Netflix. Ravage having a new head feels like they did not want to get torn apart by the real one for giving extra attention to the bird.

although hypothetically an updated Ravage at core budget would be nice I do not know a good figure of them can be made at a small size even the MP was not incredible imo. Both it and the WFC one feel like they will break on me and actually the MP did.

OTCA was back up earlier today and is gone again. Only know because I got an email notifying me of a subscribed thread.

Never even noticed the head. Went straight in the tub of accessories. Just that bad a toy.

No, still up. Has been back since yesterday. Although perhaps the issues are going to be more and more frequent.

I wasn’t wondering, just correcting JJJ. A new ravage would be nice but idk why he’s hating on the WFC mould

Guess it was a brief blip I had tried to log back on a moment before, gave it three attempts. but it is there for me now
It is the only WFC minibot I hate transforming, the rear leg joints feel off, and it is very square. I do not have a strong hatred for it especially when every Ravage has been an awkward sod and I think flat as it is the G1 figure is unfortunately the best but I get it.

Good to hear it's back up. Any idea what was the root cause?

Probably on the shelf now because it warmed. Sounds like a few BigWs and JBs are putting old stock up for the mid-year rush.

Oh good grief, I thought for sure they must have run out the last time they wheeled fresh cartons of that wave out (which was only what, January? Feb maybe?)
