Only really interested in the Miner Megatron from the 2 Amazon sets. Not sure If I'll get Armada Prime either. Have no attachment as Armada came well after I stopped watching Transformers. Also I have been on a slight SW hit lately with the 40th ROTJ figures. Prime does look pretty sweet though.
do we know why random figures from several waves of legacy and SS have just flat out been omitted from preorders? so far it's been legacy needlenose, twincast, swoop (at JB), devcon and SS core class dotm bee that have all just been excluded.
idk why they did that, my best guess is that they’re doing that to release them in between waves so there’s always something new
also i saw on JB’s website that they’re also releasing the core class legacy bomb-burst in july AFTER the legacy evolution one just came out late may last month, weird
Is there any precedent for a toy distributor (in this case Hasbro Australia) or a retailer (such as JB HiFi) doing that? I've only ever known retailers to push out product as it becomes available - first in, first out - because watehouse space is limited and it's costly to keep product warehoused and in reserve. Not sure, but if I had to guess I'd say Hasbro's international distributors have not made those toys available in solid cases, only in assortments. JB HiFi is a specialist retailer who list their toys individually by character (as opposed to other stores like Target who list size classes as "assorted",) so I suspect they bring in their inventory as solid cases to make it easier to stock inventory in and out. These solid cases are most likely split and distributed to each store based on sales projections. Otherwise, it could be just an ordering oversight that keeps happening, because I can't see any business reason for Hasbro to not make a character such as Needlenose or Devcon available individually. ~L~
