A question for the MOTU Origins figure collectors. Are they no longer going to be selling at retail and only through the Creations site now? Making Grizzlor a Creations exclusive was a dick move.
No, that's just a non-retail toy. Why Grizzlor, a firm favourite for Horde collectors (and generally considered a reasonably top-tier character anyway), we may never know, but no, that's not how MOTU Origins is going from here - there are several waves of Snakes coming to retail yet that we know of. Dick move, yes, absolutely. Even with the Made To Order making it better, they still screwed it up by having that Made To Order be only 48 hours (other Mattel MTOs go for a week or two), by not advertising it properly, and, worse yet, officially posting wrong information about it (that it was not available to foreigners) - and then not properly countering that wrong information (they silently deleted the offending Instagram post, and then posted something rather vague on another site entirely). Mattel may have improved a bit since the Wun-Dar farce, but they're still a bunch of idiots doing their best to be anti-customer.
Yeah I didn't even know the sale was on. And now I can only find Grizzlor selling for over $100 (with postage) on eBay dang it. Actually thinking of getting a vintage figure as they are selling for way less. EDIT: Found a buyer who gave me a deal pretty close to how much I would have paid on the Creations site (with ebay postage added of course). Happy with that

It has been found at Target, in Melbourne. I have seen reports over on Ozformers from people who I have no reason to think are lying. It could happen - just this year we've seen a Walmart exclusive sold at US Target (or maybe it was the other way around , with receipt to prove it) - all it takes is a small mistake packing a pallet...
Has anyone seen Cosmos's anywhere in melbourne? I've been to 3 Kmarts and seen every velocitron figure but cosmos.
Walgreens exclusive at Walmart. Specifically Minerva's first sighting was at Walmart, with speculation she may have accidentally been packed into a box of Wave 1 Legacy figures - possibly in place of an Elita One. Further down that same thread you linked, however, it's confirmed that it wasn't a Target sighting. It was a KMart sighting at a store which used to be a Target. *My bad. Elita was Wave 2, not Wave 1. Oddly it's also stylised as "Elita-1", which makes more sense given it's derived from "Leader-1", despite its depiction in the original scripts and production bible being spelled out.
I think I'll have better odds spotting a Yeti in Melbourne at this point... LOL. That link read like a Britney Spears train wreck of a song.
Ehhh, sh!t happens sometimes... What I'm disappointed about is staff didn't address the confusion, which went on for days according to the date stamp of the posts. They would be in a better position given their relationship with Hasbro Australia? Instead it was left to members to question the validity of the sighting. But I'm looking in from the outside.

They aren't on the BigW website yet, but the shelf-tag for Tigatron has it for a very nicely priced $29... so it is expected that the other two will be the same. Just remember, this size class was $59 with the first wave at the end of last year, and $39 with the one that was released in June, so to have these three at $29 each is amazing value for toys that are larger than today's Deluxe class. And don't forget that we have 20% off toys at BigW at the moment too, so it should make them even cheaper. In Cyrillic. I can see that the advertised link (when hovering over it) goes to Ozformers, but still - gotta wonder why it is in Cyrillic, and if I were willing to go to Facebook in the first place then I would also not click on that link.
you can see where a link goes without clicking it, you cant fake a full facebook link. its completely safe. just cause something isnt in english, doesnt make it dodgy.
A massive shout out to Melbourne member CoktimusPrime for Velocitron Cosmos & delivering to my home today. We first met lining up at ToysRUs South Morang inaugural store opening a few years back. That's what I enjoy about Australian TF hobbyist. Correction: He's actually Taiwanese but he's as good an Aussie in my books. Cosmos is out there people. I was told this one came from Kmart Greensborough. May have to be patient with 2nd (think it has already happened?), 3rd, 4th restock on shelves. ... gotta wonder why though an Australian Sighting thread with a non-English link.
