Just a note for anyone interested in the Generation Selects Volcanicus from Takara - both EB and Zing have just added pre-orders for July next year, $499 the lot. Gotta say, Unicron for $848 looks like a bargain in comparison.
When you consider the original set was, what, $255-$290 piecemeal depending on where you bought? Yeah, that's crazy. I guess the good deal we got on MPM8 ($199) was very much a one-off and now they've realised they forgot the "Australia Tax".
It gets worse. Robotoyz has them on pre-order for $349.95 plus shipping... which will not come to $150!
Have you guys tried Oh My Primus? Preorder for March next year at S$210 which works out approx $214AU. Only catch may be postage but they are usually pretty affordable shipping to Australia. You are being redirected...
I think I have another Morayfield first - this time at Target. Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Seekers and Cyberverse Battle for Cybertron Quintesson Invasion. Two of the former on the shelf, three (if I recall correctly) of the latter. Happy hunting.
Found a Skipjack at Target in Sydney! Also saw Generations Selects Hubcap and Greasepit at Zing which was cool.
Interesting, I didn't think that EB and Zing would stock those as standard, because the packaging (a brown box with faux drippy spray paint) doesn't grab the attention on the shelf
And speaking of EB and Zing, they just put up pre-orders for everything so far leaked or revealed in the first wave of Kingdom. Coming in January, apparently.
Not sure if its new or not but Amazon US now lets you import earthrise prowl/ironhide 2 pack ,paradron medic/ratchet 2 pack and both of the clones 2 packs (neither of the seeker 2 packs though unfortunately). It however still doesnt let you do this from the AU(except the decepticon clone pack) site for whatever reason so I don't think youll be able to get free shipping with prime or anything if you do this. All up including shipping and GST i got all 4 packs for 184 USD which isnt too bad really
Nope. Have been waiting and wondering. My Kmart re-stocked with a single Chromia and Hotlink a few weeks ago, at 50% off. Over at Ozformers, there's a thread where Griffin states that Hasbro has confirmed to him that we will be getting the second wave. And hey, we haven't finished October yet
