Since the release of the first Transformers movie. And arguably the greatest movie theme song of all time. Are there any events happening near you surrounding this momentous occasion?

Nothing that I’m aware of. But I’ll probably pop the movie in & chomp some popcorn.

I'm sure some traumatized fanboys will gather for a symbolic burning of a Hot Rod wicker man.

Welcome to TFW! I wish I could remember exactly when I first saw the movie. I didn’t see it in the theater; I had to wait until it hit TV (unless we rented it on VHS or something). I love it and I still give it a watch every few years. It still gives me the feelz. And, I finally got to see it in the theater a couple or few years ago during the last “widespread” theatrical event.

I, however, celebrated by purchasing Kingdom Rodimus so that I may cherish an innocent bot who was fucking framed.

That movie marked the decline of my childhood interest in TFs, so I'm not celebrating.

Will it play in theatres in Canada as well? I am so excited!! Since I didn't get to watch the movie at the theatres back in 86, this is my chance to actually be to watch it on the big screen.

I was able to watch the movie in theaters a few years ago, and that was a great experience. Especially since I had never seen it in a theater before.

Despite its many flaws, it’s still a crazy, fun sci-fi trip. Heavy on the fantasy elements. You just don’t see movies like this… ever.
