Hey everyone! I about five minutes I'm going to be on my way to audition for a play, no not one of those dinky school plays, a musical that's going to be shown at the Aronoff Center (big place for musicals in Cincinnati, they play Wicked and Hairspray along with other events there) I'm auditioning for Suessical the Musical (funny name I know ) But this is the biggest thing I've ever auditioned for and they're looking for "child actors" So I thought I'd try and get a part, actually any part would be fine with me But right now I'm starting to get a little nervous But I know I've been preparing for this and I hope I'm as good as I think I sound (Oh noes! ) But I've become really outgoing with my voice in the last year thanks to my chorous teacher Miss. Letteri (who is also auditioning) Well, wish me luck!
I know that place! I went there to see the Lion King when it was in the 'Nati. I wish you a crapload of luck and then some that you get a part!
Good luck, just remember to smile and be friendly (especially for something like Seussical). Make sure you're nice and hydrated and good luck! Musicals are a blast
*sigh* After waiting 2 hours for the choreographer to show up, I found out that the musical conflicted with the only vacation I have a year. So I couldn't even audition But I guess there will be more musicals in the future! All it does is give me time to practice and really see what I can do with my voice! Thanks for all your support!
