Good luck to Hasbro, I guess. More power to them if they can actually get a sizeable portion of the 5-10 boys-buying-toys demographic to buy these. They seem pretty dumb to me.

 

It's no weirder than the Star Trek/X-Men comics that came out a few years ago... I actually kind of liked those.

 

Really? I didn't know of the existance of those comics. That's even weirder.
But I still don't like the Attacktix line.

 

I ask again, why is darth vader fighting optimus prime?

 

More importantly,are the Transformers fighting star wars characters,? If so it's Optimus/Megatron/Omega Sentinel versus darthvader/luke skywalker/and some droid.

Or have Megatron and darth vader joined forces?​

Bah, you people have no imagination. Fantasy doesn't have to make sense. It's a battle of one galaxy vs another galaxy.

Coruscant, Tatooine, etc vs Cybertron, Earth, etc

Personally, I would totally buy an animation DVD just to see these crazy fights.

 

It's a nice idea ... but certainly not for everyone.

I won't be buying these guys unless I see a figure that's so super-ultra-freaking-cool that I have to get it. By the looks of things, I won't be buying these guys.

But if this turns out to be a success, then more power to Hasbro. I hope that if Attacktix is a success, that Hasbro uses part of its earnings towards other TF lines like Alternators and Classics.

Hey doubters, cheer up! Maybe we'll get to really see a Unicron VS Death Star fight. In a battle between Vader and Prime, I think Vader will have the edge until Optimus learns to use the Force and weild a Light Saber!   This series is no worse than "Celebrity Death Match". I don' play this game yet but I'll learn.  

 

Let's see...Transformers that don't transform, have limited posability, and have 'cool' action features. I liked 'em better when they were called 'Action Masters.'

I dont really get it...what the hell are attactix anyways? All I see is little PVC figures. Is it some sort of D&D thing or something?

 

I sent an e-mail to Hasbro asking if they're considering a SW vs TF cartoon. I expect the following reply.

"Thank you for your inquiry. At this time, it is our belief that you are on DRUGS."

It's no different really than TF vs GI Joe, although I guess Joes make more sense....maybe cause the two have been paired up longer....

Anyhoo, I don't like any of the TF/SW stuff. None of it has impressed so far. I still wanna see TF/Joe toys.
