Funny thing is I went in looking for the W5 deluxe figures and looked and saw a Magnus. Picked it up and there was Astrotrain behind him. Snapped the pic, bought him and my groceries. Got home, realized I needed a few more things, went to another WM and found them there. Got them. Ordered Apeface and the tapes and Micromaster W5 sets and they both are here by end of the week. All done now.
I don't believe you even with photos. This is just an elaborate photoshop. Wal-Marts don't carry Transformers. Except like 2 deluxes from 8 months ago. (And I'm not even 100% certain that wasn't an illusion from my subconscious because I wanted to actually FIND something on those racks so badly.)
I fiddled with him a bit. Basically he feels exactly like a little more complex version of the G1 toy. Only problem I had is the canopy part of the shuttle doesn't want to stay snapped shut. But yeah he more or less transforms like the G1 except for the arms. Instead of folding into the body, they bend up above the head. Then flip up chest over it all for the tail fin. he comes with 4 guns and a shoulder rocket pod. He can use the engine holes in the back for extra gun storage. Plus you can combine all the guns like MMPR weapons. very cool figure.
IN 24 hours.. Micromasters W5 was spotted Deluxe W5 was spotted Leader W3 was spotted Where's Apeface?
You know they call them waves, but except for the initial launch, finding "a wave" is so staggered it's easier to assume Hasbro is just drip feeding them out.
Argh. Part of me doesn’t want to pay Leader price for a Voyager figure but I know when I see him he’s bought on sight.
Nope. Not gonna buy him. I'm not about to pay 50 bucks for a Voyager(ish) class figure. If Hasbro made a new price point of 39.99 for these figures MAYBE .
