Those upgrades look nice, but... Eh. Don't know if I really need them. Not a high priority, especially when I need to save up for the other stuff ToyNotch has announced (c'mon, Tankhead!).

Got my order in. Most anticipated toy line of the year for me. Cannot wait to have Vulcun and the ladies as well.

God Vulcun is going to pair so so well with my Mors. Literal quad arm bros.

I have just got Apollo and it is awesome figure :)

I would really want Argus, but with Apollo's head.

I got my Apollo last Saturday and I have been posing him and trying out random accessories ever since. Its easily the coolest robot action figure I have as far as articulation and balance. I am really tempted to buy an Argus as well. Did someone mention lady ones coming out as well or I was misreading something?

I am really late to the party with Astrobots, passed them over at initial release and kinda forgot about them until a month back in a BBTS email.

I have had Apollo and Argus for a few weeks, Prototype Apollo for a week, and I just ordered a "Day 13" from a (reputable) chinese seller for $116 shipped (the only others you will find around the net are $130 to $150)...and I have ordered two sets of the drones (may get three in the end) and may very well end up with another set of apollo and drones for the new (work work) office once it's done...the rest (obviously?) stay in the home (work) office and display rooms where they are safe with their toy companions.

Anyway, the point here is that the same seller listed another one after I bought mine last week. Mine is somewhere on it's way to O'Hare International as I type this so I would expect I will have it in hand late next week or so (and hopefully the COVID19 outbreak doesn't stop it in it tracks) but I would be happy to update once I have confirmed receipt (and authenticity) of it.

I just created a new account since collecting habits have changed over the years and havent really kept up with my accounts from back in the day (but my email also wasnt flagged here so I must not have had one in many years if ever)...so I cant post links but its really easy to find on ebay...

Since this was supposedly a 500 piece limited run the price isnt terrible for what it is...and once some more of their products start hitting the market and people come to know what to expect better from their products (I personally specifically held off originally because they were a new company and I wondered how good their manufacturing and QC would be...but reviews swayed me to give them a chance and I am very glad I did) I would expect that you will be hard pressed to find another one outside of an even more expensive and already opened second market figure...

I am extremely impressed by what I hold in my hands...like someone upthread (a year back) said, the moment I held one I said "these are hand candy"...and they hold up so well...just cant wait for more stuff (that doesn't look awkward) to pose them with...and of course the female and larger mechas...

Heck, if those TankHead figures have the detail and articulation they appear to...and dont cost $400 each...I may have two new toy lines to obsess over.

Got my spiders. As well made as Apollo and Argus were they are. Boy they make them back heavy when you attach them though so gotta lean the bots forward to compensate.

    spiders.jpg

Spiders have some really nicely articulated legs. And having eight huge guns now means I need two more toys to be able to hold them all haha. Hope ToyNotch makes other bots able to hold these weapons eventually as I believe Vulcan, Artemis and Athena all have much smaller hands.

Set also comes with two replacement back pieces that slot on where the previous battery cover panels went, they have a new tab slot on them so you can latch the spiders on.

Been eyeing these guys for a while and finally went whole-hog and ordered out one of each. Apollo, Apollo prototype version, Argus and a set of tarantula/wasp. I wanted to get two Apollo standard versions, but BBTS only had one left and that's the best price of any of them I can find. Hopefully another one turns up somewhere for a price I can stomach.

Wish I would have jumped on them sooner. They look so awesome.
