Totally agree that $65 for an accessory pack is pricey but Tarantula and Wasp are actually a pretty good value for what they are. They have a lot of display options and moving parts, and make the astrobots that much more fun.

Agreed. I totally considered the set an accessory pack when I made the purchase, but in hand they're actually pretty cool as robot drones.

A Krivo-styled one with revolvers on the legs could be very cool.

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm guessing he should be able to.

Confirmation that the backpack function of the drones works with Krivo:

Got Krivo the other day, he’s great! Only problem is I didn’t get the energy pipe? Not sure why, the indent in the tray for it is there.

Maybe you should contact the store you bought Krivo from to see if you can't get a replacement for the missing energy pipe.

Wasp and Tarantula are worth the price. They are very good on their own. With the other figures they are great. One of the back blasters on mine unfortunately broke. Was supposed to get a new one, but it got swallowed by the mail. I might actually go in for another set one of these days.

These guys are pretty fun, although Argus probably doesn't think so at the moment!

I've been on a hyper-articulation kick lately (thanks MMC!) and kind of want to grab one of these while they're still relatively available. Is there any difference in build quality / QA / etc. between Apollo and Argus? Argus just seems to be cheaper across the board.

Printed this tonight for my Apollo. I feel like its the perfect weapon for him. The Undertaker hat helps with the look too. 20210708_235611.jpg 20210708_235627.jpg 20210708_235616.jpg

In some weird way I like to see this with I don't know a mecha gorilla style head and the whole thing painted silver that would be cool as a MechaniKong.
