I'm speculating dude haha the whole of it is speculation?! I've said nothing was fact I'm just attaching real world principles to the whole transformium idea and how it could be used moving forwards after all for Stanley tucci to return yet not really have many scenes (or so it seems) must imply something....and I'm speculating as to what that may be. My name isn't Michael bay friend and neither is yours so all we can do is theorise and speculate until something factual emerges.

But what good is speculation if it's founded on nothing and runs contrary to evidence?

Contrary to evidence? Proof of theory? I'm describing what happened in the ACTUAL FILM AOE....and I'm speculating upon how they may build and expand upon the story that was told in AOE as a precursor to the cinematic universe and apply it to the next movie....so if everything they said and broadcast about AOE and their plans going forward plus the actual happenings within the movie AOE itself is contrary to evidence and me basing it on nothing!? ....

Then all I can say to you is wtf you even doing here!?

I think I have to agree as well. Megs was hiding the fact that he actually possessed Galvatron shall we say. More than likely lockdown would've taken him as well

Something just occurred to me, there would need to be an explanation for why Megatron is against the Creators as well. At first you would think it's because he wants his own freedom and doesn't like being commanded like a puppet. It works until you remember the Fallen and Sentinel. Well perhaps maybe Sentinel to a degree because he wasn't too thrilled with the prospect of Sentinel claiming all the glory.

So why would he be against serving the Creators yet perfectly fine with following orders from the Fallen and Sentinel?

    That's a good question actually.

I think he was initially fine when it came to working with Sentinel, but once Sentinel acted like the boss he started to resent Sentinel. Sentinel seems like the type of guy that members of both factions respected to a degree.

As for the Fallen, he was the first Decepticon and one of the first Primes, so there's that.

Additionally, we know that the Transformers were made to do as they were told. The Creators did not make the Transformers with the best interests of Cybertronians in mind. My guess is that the Transformers were initially lifeless albeit highly advanced AI drones. The Dynasty of Primes were the first, or at least among the first, Cybertronians made sentient through the Allspark by design or accident. The Fallen and company likely rebelled against their masters. Granted this is my educated guess based on what has happened in the films so far.

Megatron probably respects the Fallen for mentoring him, for (possibly) rebelling against the Creators, and for starting the Decepticons.

Also, Megatron probably knows much more about the Creators than most Cybertronians. He obviously knew about the Seeds. Consequently, in all likelihood Megatron is aware that the Creators, while no friends to the Autobots, are not friends to the Decepticons either based on what Lockdown had to say.

Personally, I get the sense that the Creators basically wanted slaves to their bidding whereas Megatron's goals at least aligned with those of The Fallen and Sentinel Prime.

That is true. The Creators are against both factions whilst the Fallen and Sentinel didn't threaten its existent. It's reasonable that Megatron didn't want to go back to serving under the Creators since it would mean most likely the end of the Decepticons. There's the factor that he would still have more free realm despite following orders from pretty much anyone but the Creators since the Creators would most likely not allow him to have any kind of free will. Evident by Lockdown's response to Optimus "You were built for one purpose and that is to follow orders."
